5. Configuração

5.1 Instalação da bateria

1. Localize o compartimento da bateria na parte traseira do sintonizador.
2. Abra a tampa do compartimento da bateria.
3. Insira duas pilhas AAA, certificando-se da polaridade correta (+ e -) conforme indicado dentro do compartimento.
4. Feche bem a tampa do compartimento da bateria.

5.2 Ligar/Desligar

• Para virar ON the tuner, press and hold the LIGADO---CALIBRAR / DESLIGADO botão por aproximadamente 2 segundos.
• Para virar DESLIGADO the tuner, press and hold the LIGADO---CALIBRAR / DESLIGADO button for approximately 2 seconds again.

6. Instruções de operação

6.1 Tuning an Instrument

The WST-520C tuner automatically detects the note being played. Follow these general steps:

1. Turn on the tuner.
2. Toque uma única nota em seu instrumento.
3. Observe the display and LED indicators.
4. Adjust your instrument's tuning until the display shows the correct note and the indicators signal "in tune."

6.1.1 Using the Built-in Microphone (for Acoustic Instruments)

For acoustic instruments such as guitars, violins, or wind instruments, place the tuner close to the instrument's sound source. The tuner will pick up the sound through its internal microphone.

6.1.2 Using the Input Jack (for Electric Instruments)

For electric instruments like electric guitars or basses, connect a 1/4-inch instrument cable from your instrument's output to the ENTRADA jack on the tuner. This method provides direct signal detection and minimizes external noise interference.

6.2 Indicadores de exibição

• Note Name: The large letter on the display indicates the detected note (e.g., C, D, E, F, G, A, B).
• Pitch Deviation Meter: The needle or bar on the display shows how far the pitch deviates from the target note.

2. Each press will cycle the A4 calibration frequency, typically from 430Hz to 450Hz.
3. Stop at your desired A4 reference frequency. The tuner will automatically save the setting.

6.4 Key Selection (for Transposing Instruments)

For instruments that transpose, you can adjust the key setting:

1. With the tuner ON, briefly press the CHAVE botão.
2. Each press will cycle through the available keys: C (Chromatic), F, Bb, Eb.
3. Select the appropriate key for your instrument. The tuner will display the selected key.

7. Manutenção

• Limpeza: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the tuner's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
