HOW TO USE
Removable Skeg
It is recommended to use the detachable skeg in deep water (lake, sea) where it will allow you to move forward in a straight line. Do not use it in shallow water or white water: the skeg would deteriorate the bottom of the kayak in shallow water and reduce the maneuverability in white water. After the skeg is assembled, please push the lock pin in the skeg. The skeg cannot be installed when the kayak is fully inflated. The curvature of the skeg must be pointed towards the back end of the kayak. [Illustration showing skeg attachment and lock pin - Figure C]
Side Chamber Valve
- Unscrew the valve cap counterclockwise from Valve Insert. [Illustration of valve cap and insert - Figure D]
- Insert the pump hose end piece and inflate it until you will reach the required pressure. [Illustration of pump hose in valve - Figure E]
- After inflation, tighten the valve caps clockwise to prevent air from leaking.
- To release air from the side tubes, unscrew the valve insert from the valve base counterclockwise.
Floor Chamber Valve
- Unscrew the valve cap counterclockwise from valve insert. [Illustration of valve parts - Figure F]
- Insert the pump hose end piece and inflate it until you will reach the required pressure. [Illustration of pump hose in valve - Figure G]
- After inflation, tighten the valve caps clockwise to prevent air from leaking.
- To release air from the bottom tube, press the valve insert from the valve base counterclockwise. [Illustration of valve base and insert - Figure H]
Adjustable Seats
Equipped with 1 padded child seat. Place the seat into the kayak to match the position of the velcro strips on the floor (in the middle). [Illustration of seat placement on floor velcro - Figure I]
Equipped with 2 adjustable foot rests that allow riders to have a sturdy base to brace against when paddling. Place the foot rests into the kayak to match the position of the velcro strips on the floor (before the adjustable seats). [Illustration of foot rest placement on floor velcro - Figure J]
Equipped with 2 adjustable seats. Place the seat into the kayak to match the position of the velcro strips on the floor. And fasten the straps from the sides of the backrest to the D-rings on the inside of the kayak. Tighten the straps as needed for proper back support. You can choose the seat position for one or two persons. [Illustration of seat straps attached to D-rings - Figure H]
