Hi, let’s get you started
Place your printer on a table or flat surface. When printing, leave 2″ (5cm) of open space beside your printer and 8″ (20cm) behind your printer. As you print, the photo paper glides in and out, adding different layers of color to the paper.
Inserting cartridge
- Open the cartridge door on the side of your printer.
- Insert the Polaroid Hi-Print 4×6 Paper Cartridge until it clicks into place. Use only Polaroid Hi-Print 4×6 Paper Cartridges. Close the cartridge door.
- To change a used cartridge, press down and pull out the lever.
Inserting Polaroid Hi-Print 4×6 Paper
- Open the paper tray door.
- Insert the paper facing the shiny side up.
- You can insert up to 20 sheets at once.
- Insert the Polaroid Hi-Print 4×6 Paper until it clicks and close the door.
How to print your first photo
- Download the free Polaroid Hi-Print Mobile App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your printer only works with this mobile app.
- Plug the provided power adapter into your printer. Make sure the power cord is not interfering with the area where the paper comes in and out.
- Turn on your printer by pressing down the power button for 1 second. The Bluetooth® LED will turn on solid white. It’s now ready to be paired with your phone.
- Go to the Bluetooth® settings on your phone.
Turn Bluetooth® on and select the Polaroid Hi Print photo printer with your unique device ID. You’ll find that ID on the bottom of your printer. The app will indicate once it’s paired with your phone - Open the Polaroid Hi-Print Mobile App on your phone.
Follow the instructions to print your first photo.
The photo will print in 4 passes. - The overcoat protects it from fingerprints, fading, and water splashes. Do not touch the ink foil or pull on the paper while printing.
Need some help?
- The power LED blinks red:
This means no cartridge has been inserted. Insert a Polaroid Hi-Print 4×6 Cartridge and try again. - There’s a paper jam:
Turn your printer off then on again. The paper should eject automatically. If not, please contact our customer service team. - Your Printer isn’t printing:
Turn your printer off then on again. Check if the cartridge is properly inserted. Let it cool down.

FAQ
The printer is not printing:
- Turn off and then on the printer.
- Check that the cartridge is inserted correctly.
- Allow the printer to cool down before attempting to print again.
