Getting Started

To connect and begin using your UD-CUBE:

  • Power the Dock: Connect the included power adapter to the UD-CUBE. A blue LED will light up, indicating the dock is powered on.
  • Connect to the Computer: Use the provided USB-C cable to connect the dock to your computer. Plug one end into the USB-C port on the front of the UD-CUBE and the other into a compatible USB-C port on your laptop or tablet.
  • Attach Peripherals: Connect your desired devices to the dock, such as:
    • HDMI monitor
    • USB keyboard and mouse
    • USB flash drive
    • Ethernet cable
  • Device Recognition: Allow a few moments for your operating system to detect and configure the connected devices.
  • Adjust Display Settings: Once video output is active, use your computer’s display settings to customize resolution, refresh rate, screen mirroring or extension, and display arrangement.

Compatibility

The UD-CUBE is compatible with Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS. The host system must support USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3/4 in order to output video through the HDMI port. Systems lacking these features will not support video output via the dock.
The UD-CUBE supports monitors with HDMI input at resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 30Hz.

Power and Charging

The UD-CUBE does not provide charging to the host computer. While the dock is powered by its included AC adapter, it does not supply enough power back through the USB-C connection to keep your laptop charged.
