Get to Know Your Bluetooth Remote
Note: The Bluetooth remote can be magnetically attached to the charging grip.
When the charging grip is in external charging mode, it cannot discharge externally, and cannot charge the remote control and wireless charging.
Compatible Devices
- Android: Phones with Bluetooth, Android 7.0 or higher.
- Harmony OS: Phones running 1.0 or higher.
- iOS: iPhone 8 to iPhone 15, iOS 8.0 or higher.
Note: Some features may not be available on certain
Android smartphones. iPhone 12 and newer support focus, shutter & record, camera flip, and zoom.

Status Indicator Lights
Battery Indicator Light (Red)
- Flashing: Battery level is below 25%.
- Solid: The grip is charging the Bluetooth remote.
- Off: Battery level is 25% or higher. Continue to charge the remote after the light is off.
Bluetooth Indicator (Blue)
- Flashing: Remote is on and in pairing mode.
- Solid: Remote is paired with the phone.
- Off: Remote is off.
Pairing Guide
- Power On
Press and hold the “Power” button for 1 second to turn on the remote. - Power Off
Press and hold the “Power” button for 1 second to turn off the remote. - Pairing
Turn on the remoter enable Bluetooth on your phone, and select “PGY-MagCam.” The remote will automatically power off if not paired within 3 minutes. Once paired, it will turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity. After the first pairing, the remote will automatically reconnect on future power-on unless paired with a different device. - Clear Bluetooth Pairing
To reset the pairing, press and hold the “Quick Start/Mode Switch/Camera Flip” button and the “Power” button simultaneously. This will disconnect the remote from any previously paired devices. Afterward, you can pair it with a new device. - Focal Length Adjustment
Tap the ‘Focal Length Adjustment” button left or right to adjust the focal length. For continuous adjustment, press and hold the button. Release it to stop adjusting. - Note for iPhone Users (when paired)
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch, enable AssistiveTouch, and set Tracking Sensitivity to “O”.
- Enable Portrait Orientation Lock.
- Focus
Half-press the “Shutter/Record/ Focus” button to autofocus.
Shutter/Video Recording
Fully press the “Shutter/Record/Focus” button to take a photo or start video recording. - Long Press for Burst Mode/Recording
Press and hold the “Shutter/Record/Focus” button to activate burst mode/shutter&record mode of Android/HarmonyOS and shutter&record mode of iOS . (On Android/HarmonyOS, this will default to burst mode. For shutter&record, you can adjust the settings on your phone.) - Camera Flip
When shooting, double-tap the “Quick Start/ Mode Switch/Camera Flip” button to switch to the front-facing camera.
Warnings
- Pre-installation: Ensure the surface meets adhesive requirements and is clean. Allow the magnetic ring to set for 24 hours after applying for best results.
- Compatible Surfaces: Suitable for smooth PC, TPIJ, glass, or metal phone cases. (Not recommended for bare phones, as heat from the device may affect the adhesive strength.) It is also unsuitable for matte glass, silicone, leather, wood, fabric, or waterproof-coated surfaces. The surface must be flat for the adhesive to work effectively.
- Adhesive: Use non-reusable 3M300LSE adhesive. Ensure the correct placement on your first attempt.
Safety Instructions
- Avoid Liquid Contact: Do not expose the product to any liquids. Never submerge it in water or use it in rainy or humid conditions. Contact with water may cause corrosion, leading to battery combustion or even explosion.
- Fire Response: In case of fire, use water, water mist, sand, fire blanket, dry powder, or C02 fire
extinguishers in the recommended order. - Operating Temperature: Use the product in environments with temperatures between -100C and 450C.
- No Disassembly: Do not disassemble the product. Puncturing the battery during disassembly can cause electrolyte leakage, fire, or explosion.
- Avoid Physical Damage: Do not subject the product to mechanical impact, crushing, or throwing. Avoid placing heavy objects on it. Do not heat the product or place it in a microwave or pressure cooker.
- Avoid Heat Sources: Do not place the product near heat sources (such as stoves or heaters) or in a hot car. The storage temperature should be between -200C and 650C.
- Battery Care: Do not leave the battery completely discharged for long periods, as this can damage the cells and make the battery unusable. To keep the battery in good condition, recharge and discharge it about every 1 months
