Know System Settings before Screen Mirroring

Step 1:
Press button •s• on the project or press Pericat S20 Theater Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth 12 on the remote to enter the Input Source interface, then select Screen Mirroring.
Step 2:
In the interface of Screen Mirroring, press OK to enter the WiFi Selection interface.

Important:

Screen Mirroring through Wireless Connection

Screen Mirroring via Router’s WiFi

  • Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source to enter the Screen Mirroring InterfacePericat S20 Theater Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth 18
  • Press OK to enter WiFi selection interface and connect the projector to your router’s WiFi with correct password.

  • Get back to the WiFi setting of your iOS mobile device, then connect it to the SAME router’s WiFi.
  • Activate Screen Mirroring/Airplay Mirroring on your iOS mobile device and search for the projector, then select from the searching results to connect.Pericat S20 Theater Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth 22
  • The content on your iOS mobile device will be mirrored to the wall/screen after WiFi connection.

TIP

  • If you’ d like to connect another router’s WiFi, please press OK in the Screen Mirroring Interface, then repeat the procedures mentioned in the section of Screen Mirroring via Router’ s WiFi.
  • If you already connected your projector with the WiFi and now you want to connect it with iOS device cellular data. please go to the WiFi Selection Interface, and disconnect the current WiFi connection then follow the steps in the section of Screen Mirroring via Cellular Data.

Screen Mirroring via Cellular Data

  • Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring.Pericat S20 Theater Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth 23
  • Go to the settings of your iOS mobile device and connect it to the WiFi of X20-785F3E (password: 12345678).
  • Activate Screen Mirroring/Airplay Mirroring on your iOS mobile device and search for the projector.
  • Select from the searching results to connect.
  • The content on your iOS mobile device will be mirrored to the wall/screen via cellular data after a successful connection.

For Android System

  • To activate this function, your Android device must support Multi-Screen/Wireless display. Names may differ from different devices.Pericat S20 Theater Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth 24
  • Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring.
  • Turn ON the WiFi switch in your Android device.
  • Activate Multi-Screen on your mobile device and search for the projector.
  • Select from the searching results to connect.
  • The content on your iOS mobile device will be mirrored to the wall/screen after a successful connection.

For Windows 10 System

  • To activate this function, your Windows 10 device must support the Miracast feature.
  • Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring.
  • Turn ON the WiFi switch in your Windows 10 device.
  • Press the “Windows Logo +P” key combination on your keyboard to enter the PROJECT interface, then selectPericat S20 Theater Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth 25
  • Connect to a wireless display” to search the projector.
  • Select from the searching results to connect.
  • The content on you Windows 10 device will be mirrored to the wall/screen after a successful connection.

Notes:

  • The fluency of screen mirroring will be affected by the network environment. A bandwidth of lOOMbit or ! more is recommended when using screen mirroring. !
  • Make sure your mobile device is close to the projector when using wireless connection. A distance within ! 3ft is recommended. :
  • Some mobile devices may not support screen mirroring due to the compatibility.
  • Due to the copyright restriction from Hulu, Netflix, and similar services, the contents CAN NOT be mirrored or cast.
  • If the projected image freezes, please reboot the projector or press OK in the Screen Mirroring
  • Interface to go to the WiFi Selection Interface and disconnect the current WiFi connection and re-connect the Home WiFi.

Screen Mirroring through Wired Connection

For iOS System

  • Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring.
  • Connect your iOS mobile device to the USB port of the projector with the ORIGINAL lightning cable.
  • Select Trust in the pop-up window ofTrust This Computer?.Pericat S20 Theater Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth 26
  • The display of your iOS mobile device will be mirrored to the wall/screen after a while.

For Android System

  • Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring .
  • Go to the settings of your mobile device, find Developer options and turn on USB debugging.

Tip:

  • The steps to turn on Developer options vary from different models of Android device. You may check it from
  • Internet or contact us for the detailed steps. We take Samsung Galaxy SB+ as an example.
  • Goto settings of your Android device, then tap About phone> Software information> Build number.
  •  Continuously tap on Build number for several times until it shows Developer mode had been turned on.
  • Get back to the settings of your mobile device, it will show Developer options.
  • Connect your Android mobile device to the USB port of the projector with the ORIGINAL USB cable.
  • Tap OK when your Android mobile device pops out the window of Allow USB debugging?, then the display of your Android mobile device will be mirrored to the wall/screen after a while

OTHER SETTINGS

  • PressPericat S20 Theater Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth 29 on the remote in any intertace to access the settings options shown below.
  • Set Picture Mode, Color Temperature, Aspect Ratio, Projection Mode and Reduce Display Size.
  • Adjust Sound Mode and turn on/off Surround Sound and connect bluetooth.
  • Set a time duration for projector to shut down automatically.
  • Access Lanuage to change language of the projector, OSD Time to adjust duration for menu viewing,
  • Software Update for the projector, and Restore Factory Default to do a reset for the projector.

  • When the Bluetooth device is found, select the device you need to connect and press the OK button to start the connection. After the connection is successful, it can be used.

  • The recommended projection distance varies with different projection contents.
  • Please adjust the distance between the wall/screen and the projector properly as needed.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

  • The content from Hulu, Netflix, and similar services can not be mirrored or cast?
  • Due to the copyright restriction from Hulu, Netflix, and similar services, the contents CAN NOT be mirrored or cast.
  • What should I do if I want to watch the content from Hulu, Netflix, and similar services via the projector?
  • Please prepare a Fire TV stick, Roku stick or Chromecast™ (not included), then connect it to the HD port of the projector to watch the content.
  • Blurry Image
  • Adjust focus ring/keystone.
  • Projector and screen/wall must be in effective distance.
  • Remote Unresponsive
  • Make sure remote points at IR receiver directly and the IR receiver doesn’t be covered.
  • Try a new pair of AAA batteries.
  • Upside Down Images
  • PressPericat S20 Theater Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth 29 on the remote in any interface, then go to Pericat S20 Theater Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth 34 > Projection Mode to flip the projection image.
  • Factory Reset
  • Reset the projector to the factory settings

FAQS

Does this projector require a movie screen? Or can it be used on the side of a house?

It can be used on the side of a house of course. It works best if the paint on the wall is pure white. Or you can hang a white sheet. Obviously if you were to use a movie screen, the mage quality resulting is best, it all comes down to $$$. As the say goes, “you get what you pay for” Enjoy.

Does it connect to AirPods

Yes. Our projector with WiFi and Bluetooth can connect the AirPods.

My google pixel phone does not show projector as an option to cast? how do i make the phone recognize the projector?

Please follow the steps in the video to turn on the projector and enter the Screen Mirroring interface. Also make sure your phone has the casting function turned on. If the projector cannot be found after the operation, please turn the projector off and on again. Our manual has our after-sales contact information, if you encounter any problems, please contact us.

Come with carrier bag?

It does’t come with a carrier bag. But its value for money is worth your choice, lumens, contrast, etc.

I tried watching a movie i rented on amazon prime and the sound wouldn’t work, but when i looked at a trailer on amazon the sound came through, why?

Please turn off the Dolby sound of the movie. Due to copyright issues, Dolby sound is not supported. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our customer service, we will send a video to show you

Can projection be reduced as small as 8×10 ?

Our 1080p projector has a 4:3 or 16:9 zoom function and cannot be downscaled to 8:10. It can also be manually corrected. If you have any other questions, our customer service will be happy to answer you.

Does it have to be totally dark to be clear of is it okaym with streetlights on around the property while we watch the movie?

The darker it’s outside, the clearer projected picture is.

Can I attach a fire stick to use with this projector?

Projector is featured multiple ports, including HDMI, USB, VGA, AV and 3.5mm audio jack. It can be easily connected to multiple media devices, such as TV sticks/boxes, Game consoles, PCs, Tablets, Laptops, DVD players, USB sticks, External speakers etc.

Do I need Bluetooth on projector?

To throw a successful movie night, you’ll need Bluetooth speakers to project sound; however, this can be difficult, depending on whether your projector has Bluetooth access or not. To connect your wireless speakers to a projector, you will need Bluetooth capability.

How do I get sound from my projector to wireless speakers?

Wireless projectors usually enable you to display slideshows and to display streaming media. The smoothness of video display depends on the speed of your connection.
