SAFETY INFORMATION
- Keep the device out of the reach of children.
- Do not expose this device to direct sunlight for a long time.
- Protect this device from humidity, water and other liquid. Avoid using/storing it in extreme temperatures. Do not expose it to direct sunlight and other sources of heat.
- Clean this device with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use any chemical agents to clean this device.
- Do not attempt to repair this device yourself. In case of damage, contact authorized service point for check-up or repair.
- Improper connection can damage the device, the car, and/or connected device. Producer does not claim responsibility for damages caused by improper connection.
- Do not shorten the wires of this device. Excess wires have to be put together with zip tie and placed out of sight.
- Caution: producer does not guarantee compatibility with every dash cam and/or GPS.
- Caution: producer does not guarantee compatibility with every car and every model. If the device is not working with your car, check the owner’s manual for the car. In case of further problems, refer the installation to car electrician professional.
INSTALLATION
- Locate the fuse box in the car.
- Locate the fuse with constant voltage and with voltage appearing after turning the ignition key (use the voltage tester to locate these fuses).
Caution: do not choose a fuse that is intended for security systems, such as ABS, airbags, etc. - Install the ground wire (black) to the ground point of the car (e.g., the chassis).
- Using adapters, install the power wire (yellow) to the fuse with constant voltage. Insert the original fuse into other socket on the adapter.
- Using adapters, install the ACC wire (red) to the fuse with voltage appearing after turning the ignition key. Insert the original fuse into other socket on the adapter.
- Connect the USB plug to an external device (dash cam, GPS).
Caution: some dash cam models require changing the power settings. Refer to your dash cam owner’s manual. - Start the engine and check if the connected device is running, then turn off the engine and check if the power is still delivered to the device. Power will be cut off if the battery voltage drops below 11,6 V or 23,5 V.
