1. Scope of Delivery
Included in the delivery:
- Salind GPS Tracker 20 4G
- M2M SIM card (already inserted)
- USB charging cable
The package contains a black, rectangular GPS tracking device with a textured casing and a central logo, a standard SIM card, and a USB charging cable.
2. Product Description & Battery Charging
The GPS tracker features LED lights and a charging port. The SIM card is pre-installed and not interchangeable.
Charging: Before first use, charge the GPS tracker for approximately 8-12 hours. Connect the supplied charging cable to the tracker's charging port and the USB port to a power socket adapter. Charge until the red LED turns off, indicating a full charge.
Battery Life: The Salind GPS Tracker 20 4G offers approximately 180 days of operation without intermediate charging. Battery duration depends on usage; more movement and alerts lead to higher utilization.
3. Activation
NOTE! You need the device number (ID) for activation. Please make a note of this before installing your GPS tracker.

4. Start-up
Once activation is successful, turn on the GPS tracker by sliding the on-off switch located under the protective rubber to the right. The LED lights will activate. To switch off, move the switch to the left.

NOTE! For the initial start-up, open spaces, such as the garden or terrace, are recommended (i.e., not indoors, in a garage, a cellar, or similar).
5. Use
After successful start-up, attach the tracker to your desired location. You can view the tracker's position using a smartphone, tablet, or PC. Please use the Salind app or visit the following website:

6. Meaning of the LED Lights
Red LED – Battery Status:
- Fixed: The GPS tracker is charging.
- Off: The battery is fully charged or not empty.
- Flashes: The battery level is low.
Orange LED – GSM Status:
- Off: The GPS tracker is in standby mode.
- Flashes: No signal available. The GPS tracker is searching for a signal.
Blue LED – GPS Status:
- Flashes: No signal available. The GPS tracker is searching for a signal.
- Off: The GPS tracker is in standby mode. It will automatically switch on when the tracker is moved again.
- Fixed: GPS signal is available.

Proper Use
Read these safety instructions carefully before using the GPS tracker for the first time. The intended use is to locate an object or a living being as described in this manual. Monitoring third parties without consent is a criminal offense. Improper use may result in damage to property or personal injury. The GPS tracker is not a child's toy. Laws regarding digital positioning and tracking vary by region; users are responsible for compliance. Salind UG is not liable for violations of such laws or regulations.
NOTE! The manufacturer and dealer accept no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
Safety Precautions
WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
A faulty electrical installation or mains voltage that is too high can lead to electric shock. Before use, check the socket's mains voltage against the rating plate. Connect the mains adapter for easy disconnection in case of a fault. Do not use the GPS tracker or charging cable if any visible damage is present. Use only original supplied parts for charging. If the charging cable is damaged, replace it only with original accessories. Never place the GPS tracker near flames or hot surfaces. The GPS tracker is not waterproof; use in dry environments is recommended. The charging cable is for indoor use only; keep it away from moisture and do not bend it. Do not open the GPS tracker housing; repairs must be performed by qualified specialists. Unauthorized repairs or improper operation will void liability and warranty claims.
Hazards for Children and Vulnerable People
Do not allow the GPS tracker to be used unsupervised by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, unless they have been instructed by a responsible person. Ensure children do not handle small parts, as they can be swallowed and cause suffocation.
NOTE! Inform your child about the dangers and use of the GPS tracker.
The Battery
WARNING! EXPLOSION AND FIRE HAZARD!
The GPS tracker is powered by a non-replaceable, non-openable lithium polymer battery. Keep the tracker away from heat sources and high temperatures, including direct sunlight in a vehicle. Failure to follow these instructions may result in battery destruction, overheating, explosion, and fire. These hazards also apply if non-original accessories are used for charging. Do not burn or puncture the GPS tracker. Protect it from mechanical damage. Do not remove, drop, disassemble, or modify the battery with sharp objects. If a child swallows the battery, seek immediate medical help. For battery replacement, contact the support team.
Removing or Replacing the Battery:
- Contact support if the battery needs removal or replacement.
- Send the device to Salind UG for battery service.
- For safety reasons, do not attempt to remove the battery yourself, as improper removal may damage the unit and compromise safety.
- Salind GPS is not liable for damage or loss arising from failure to comply with these warnings and instructions.
WARNING! RISK OF CHEMICAL BURNS!
Leaking batteries can cause burns upon contact with skin. Never open the battery. If a leak occurs, wear protective gloves.
Electromagnetic Compatibility
Observe all prohibitions and switch off the GPS tracker immediately in dangerous areas or if it causes interference. Do not use it near medical equipment, fuels, chemicals, or in blasting areas. Mobile devices can cause interference affecting performance. Avoid transformers and very strong magnetic fields, as they may cause transmission deviations.
NOTE! Failure to observe these recommendations may result in malfunctions or damage to the GPS tracker.
Cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF DAMAGE!
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes, knives, or metal sponges, as these can damage the surface. Never immerse the GPS tracker in water or a dishwasher, nor use a steam cleaner. Wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth and ensure it is completely dry afterwards.
Storage
If you will not use the GPS tracker for an extended period, switch it off. Store the tracker in its original packaging or a similar box to protect it from dirt and moisture.
NOTE! Keep the GPS tracker out of children's reach to avoid possible damage to property or personal injury.

Dispose of packaging according to type. Throw cardboard and paper into the corresponding container. Foil belongs in the recyclables collection. ♻️
9. Instructions for Disposal of Used Batteries
This note is for end-users who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and will not resell them in their original form.
Free Recall of Used Batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries for proper disposal. You can return them to a local collection point or your local retailer. As a distributor, Salind UG also takes back used batteries, limited to types they carry. Used batteries can be returned with sufficient postage or handed in directly, free of charge, to their dispatch warehouse.

Meaning of the Battery Symbols
Batteries are marked with a symbol of a crossed-out dustbin (?️). This indicates that batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. Batteries containing specific amounts of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), or lead (Pb) may also be marked with the chemical name of the pollutant below the dustbin symbol.
10. Instructions for Disposal of Electrical Devices
The Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) contains requirements for handling electrical and electronic equipment. Key points include:
- Separate Collection of WEEE: Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) must be disposed of separately from unsorted local waste and not in household waste.
- Batteries and Accumulators: Owners of WEEE must separate spent batteries and accumulators not enclosed in the WEEE before handing them over at a collection point.

- Data Protection: Old equipment may contain sensitive personal data. End-users are responsible for deleting data before disposal.
