everyday tasks, streaming music and movies, taking photos, checking emails, and engaging with social media.

The tablet offers 16GB of internal storage, Bluetooth connectivity, Micro SD slot for up to 128GB of additional storage,on-the-go productivity services, and a utility app.

The following information will help you get the most out of your tablet.

Starting Your Tablet
1. Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds. (If your tablet does not turn on, or instructs you to “Connect your charger”, connect the AC adapter and charge the unit.)

2. At the Start-up screen, slide your finger up to unlock.

Tablet Updates
To ensure the tablet runs smoothly it is recommended to perform periodic system software updates, especially during initial set up of the tablet. You may receive notifications (on the Lock screen) from time to time that software updates are available. Tap the notification to be directed to the update. Other options to access updates:

1. From the Home screen tap on Settings setting> System >
About Tablet >Wireless Update.

NOTE: To perform an update, you must be connected o WiFi.

The first time you sign on to Google Play Store, updates will automatically start downloading on to the tablet. The download icon will appear in the status bar at the top left of screen . Installing a new application while multiple apps are downloading will reduce tablet speed and performance. After all downloads and updates have been installed, the tablet will resume normal ope rating performance.

To view the progress of downloads working in the background, slide your finger down from the top edge of the screen.

In order to connect to the internet, you will need the following:
• A wireless router or an access point with a broadband internet connection.
• The name of your network (SSID), as well as the password or other credentials,
if your network is secure.

The wireless router must support WiFi 802.1 la/b/g/n connections.

Go to SETTINGS > Network & internet > WiFi Tap on WiFi to activate wireless connectivity. The Tablet will scan for available WiFi networks within range. Secured networks will require a password, Once you have successfully entered your information the tablet will remember your settings.

Connecting Bluetooth
Your Tablet is compatible with Bluetooth capable devices. Once your tablet searches
and finds the Bluetooth device, follow on-screen instructions to initiate the pairing of the device with the Tablet. Add or “pair” a Bluetooth compatible device with your Tablet as follows:

1 ) Turn on the compatible Bluetooth device and make it discover able.
2) Open the Settings > Connected devices.
3) Tap on Pair new device view available devices.

Charging Your Tablet
It is recommended to fully charge the tablet before first use . To charge the
tablet, plug the 1) USB cable into the AC adapter, and 2) attach the other end to the Micro-USB input on the tablet. 3) Plug the AC adapter in to a wall outlet.
Charging your Teblet

When the tablet is ON and cha rging, the battery icon will pulsate. A complete battery charge may take up to 2.5 hours. It is normal for the tablet to get warm while charging, playing high in tensity games, or streaming video.
Battery life will vary depending on usage.

Note: Leave tablet in well ventilated area while charging.

  4. My 10″ tablet the include typing case has stopped working.

    I did a factory reset, still not working. It does not recognize that it is connected.

  5. Is there a way to reduce the on screen keyboard. It is blocking the data entry box I and trying to type in, so I cannot see what I am entering. Also I can’t move the smaller pop up screen by using my fingers. The the data entry box is only partly appearing and when I try to move it up, it does not move or only partially move when I try to move it with my finger. But not completely so I can see the whole sub screen, the on screen keyboard is blocking some of it.

  7. Do not buy it! Bought one January 28th 2020 and it went down Feb.21st 2020 and Walmart will NOT take it back. Used to be a 90 day return policy yet now only 15 days and if it goes down you are screwed.

  12. I am having problems copying files from my laptop to the tablet. I have an ONN 10.1″ Tablet that I got from Walmart. When I connect the Tablet to my Laptop, it sees it and it shows “this folder is empty.” When I try to copy a file, like music, it displays an error message “Cannot copy item” “The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected”
    Any thoughts?

  13. Why my onn surf tablet want connect to my mobile hotspot on my iPhone 5 I done reset the tablet , the network settings it was working fine until last night only had for about 3 weeks smh I didn’t have this problem with my first tablet

  14. The instruction manual is called Product Guide, but it doesn’t guide you through much of anything.
    When I switch it on, it says “Swipe to unlock all features and whatever,” and then after I do that, it asks the same thing, always requiring me to sign in with my password, which I do. But then it gives me a total of 15 seconds before kicking me out of the system.
    This is a piece of junk. If you want to buy yourself a headache and more frustration than it’s worth, buy this hunk-a-junk.
