Yes…..the instructions specifically state this in the manual as well. I just ordered a 2nd powered sub for my system as well. I have no complaints of the unit. It is my 2nd onkyo system. My older one is still cranking in my bar entertainment area.

Go to Walmart or any audio website. Buy some good heavy gauge audio wire.
This speaker package does not support HDR. Any of our 2017 network receivers support HDR and HDR10 like the HT-S9700THX package. -JM
Yes, they can be used. However, please be aware that the brackets that you want to buy are useless. I purchased them and the movement is very limited with this size of speakers.

These are much fuller range speakers and will sound better.
It would depend on the speaker stands. The surround sound speakers are enclosed in small boxes.
