Product Usage Instructions

Switch Positions:

Switch 1 on the board has different positions with corresponding functions:

• Position ON: Disables the board’s Floppy Disk Controller
• Position OFF: Enables the board Floppy Disk Controller (normal)

Switch 2:

• ON: Disables the system hard disk
• OFF: Enables the system hard disk (normal)

Switch 3:

• ON: Disables the serial port
• OFF: Enables the serial port (normal)

Switch 4:

• ON: Sets the Serial port address to COM2
• OFF: Sets the Serial port address to COM1 (normal)

Note: The serial port must be disabled in the presence of a multiport board configured for MS-DOS operations.
