ASSEMBLY


Plug front shaft into mounting socket of the Control Unit (click sound) and connect the shaft cable to the connector for the transmitting antenna (red).	Plug rear shaft into mounting socket of the Control Unit (click sound) and connect the shaft cable to the connector for the receiving antenna (silver).

Plug the triangular antenna to the corresponding telescopic shaft and connect the corresponding cable: transmitting antenna (red) / receiving antenna (silver)	Adjust the length of the telescopic shafts, mount the tablet onto the holder. Power on Control Unit and tablet and establish a Wi-Fi connection.

SCAN TYPES


Scan of one single straight line. This mode is used to check the target area for potential anomalies like pipelines or tunnels.	Scan of more lines. This mode is used to scan a complete target area and detect anomalies such as pipelines or tunnels in an optimized visualization.

PREPARE 3D SCAN


Start the GPR 3D App on the tablet and click “New Scan”.	A wireless data connection between Control Unit and App will be established.

Adjust further general settings individually.	Enter an individual project title and add further notes.


Choose Scan Type: 3D or 2D. For optimized scans we recommend 3D	Choose Scan Mode: Parallel or Zigzag. For an easy start we recommend Parallel.

Select Soil Type and Maximum Depth based on the conditions of your scan area.	Get ready to perform your measurement.

PERFORM 3D SCAN

Go to the starting point of your scan field (bottom right). Press the trigger button to start the first scan line.
Press again to finish the scan line.

Go to the starting point of the next scan line and press the trigger button. Walk the scan line until you reach its end (recording stops automatically).
Follow the instructions in the app.
