Notice: The yellow rubber plug is an optional accessory, which can be plugged into the ventilation hole at the rear side of the barrel to improve the urine leakage problem caused by some cats urinating. Users can disassemble it according to their needs.

Panel and Keys

Indicator Lamps:

• Fault lamp: Lights up: the barrel is not installed or cannot rotate normally.
• Full lamp: Lights up: The waste bin is almost full, please replace the garbage bag.
• WIFI lamp: Lights up: In WIFI. Flashes: Connecting Network. Dark: Not in WIFI.
• Power lamp: Lights up: power on.

Placement and Power on

Placement

1. Please place the litter box on a hard and flat ground and ensure that all four feet can contact the ground.
2. Please ensure that sufficient space is reserved: height ≥ 70cm, depth ≥ 80cm.
3. If you need to move the litter box, please disconnect the power supply first, and move it as a whole through the clasp under the host. Do not lift or move the barrel.

Notice:

• Do not place the litter box in environments of high temperature, high humidity, or direct sunlight.
• Do not place the litter box on soft or uneven ground.
• Do not place any foot of the litter box on the cat litter mat.
• Do not drag or heavily put the litter box.
• If the infrared sensor is on, it may be triggered by reflective surfaces or shelters within 30cm. Consider turning off the sensor or relocating the box.
• If using a cat litter mat, ensure its thickness is no more than 3cm.

Power On & Self Test

1. Power on: Use the original adapter. Ensure the socket voltage is stable.
2. Self Test: The litter box performs a self-test within 6 minutes. After the self-test, Auto mode is enabled by default, and the Auto lamp will be on. The litter box is ready to work.

Notice:

• Do not move the litter box when powered on. Lifting it for more than 5 seconds triggers gravity protection lock. Reset calibration is required.
• The litter box can be used without the infrared sensor; gravity sensors will function normally.
• If the fault lamp is on during self-test, check barrel installation after powering off, then restart the self-test.

Begin to Use

Add litter

1. Add an appropriate amount of litter from the entrance, not exceeding the MAX line.
2. Leveling: Press "Remove odor" for 2 seconds after adding litter (≥ 0.6kg) to smooth the litter.
3. Sand surface calibration: Adjust through the APP if the litter surface is inclined. The default value is 3 (adjustable from 0 to 6). Increase the value if the right side is low, decrease if the left side is low. Press "Remove odor" for 2 seconds to level and check.

Notice:

• Mix with old litter for the first use to help cats adapt.
• Recommended litter amounts: Tofu/mixed litter up to 3kg, mineral litter up to 4.5kg.
• If litter is not smoothed after adding, gravity protection lock engages. Leveling or waiting 30 minutes for auto-reset is required.

Connecting APP

1. Download and install the "tuya" APP.
2. Ensure phone is connected to 2.4G WIFI, and turn on Bluetooth and Location.
3. Open "Tuya" APP, click "add device".
4. Press "Auto" for 2 seconds; the WIFI lamp flashes, indicating connection.
5. Enter the APP after connection.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues:

• Check if the phone is connected to a 5G network; switch to 2.4GHz.
• Ensure phone Bluetooth is turned on.
• Verify WIFI lamp flashes during connection.
• Check if the home WIFI network is abnormal or shut down.
• Ensure the correct WIFI network and password are used.
• Move the litter box to an area with a better WIFI signal if the current environment is poor.
• Check if the router is overloaded with too many connected devices.

Main Function

Auto clean

1. Click "Auto" (⚙️). The "Auto" lamp lights up, enabling Auto clean mode. The litter box cleans automatically after the cat leaves. Click again to turn off.
2. Default waiting time for clean is 3 minutes, with a 15-minute interval between cleans. These can be adjusted via the APP (waiting time 0-60 min, interval 0-120 min).

! Warning: For kittens under 1kg and pregnant cats, use "Clean" manually. Do not use Auto clean mode.

Notice:

• Auto clean is triggered if a cat over 1kg stays in the barrel for over 10 seconds.
• After power on and self-test, Auto clean is enabled with default waiting and interval times.
• The litter box cannot be stopped during cleaning; panel and APP operations are locked.

Timing clean

Set Timing clean through the APP for start time and cycle time.

! Warning: For kittens under 1kg and pregnant cats, use "Clean" manually. Do not use Timing clean mode.

Clean

Click "Clean" (?). The "Clean" lamp lights up, initiating an immediate cleaning cycle.

! Warning: Ensure no cat is in the barrel before clicking "Clean". The litter box calibrates weight before cleaning. If a cat is present, gravity protection will not engage.

Notice:

• If a cat enters during cleaning, gravity protection will stop the process.
• The litter box cannot be stopped during cleaning; panel and APP operations are locked.

Remove odor

Click "Remove odor" (?). The "Remove odor" lamp flashes, starting a 30-minute odor removal cycle. Click again to stop.

Timing Remove odor: Set via the APP for start time and cycle time.

Notice:

• After each cleaning, odor removal runs once by default.
• Odor removal can be stopped by leveling or cleaning, then resumed.
• The litter box uses an Ion Purification module, producing small amounts of O3.

Do not disturb

Set "Do not disturb" mode via the APP for time period and cycle time. When active, the display and control panel lamps are dark, and Auto clean is turned off.

Notice:

• If the litter box is cleaning when "Do not disturb" is activated, it will finish cleaning first.
• Timing clean and Timing Remove odor will execute before entering "Do not disturb" mode if scheduled.
• Touching any panel key will end the "Do not disturb" state for that period.
• Child lock can prevent accidental deactivation of "Do not disturb". To disable "Do not disturb", the child lock must be deactivated first.

Child lock

Press "Auto" (⚙️) and "Remove odor" (?) for 2 seconds to enable the child lock, locking panel keys. The litter box continues to operate normally. Press again to disable. Child lock can also be managed via the APP. Enabling child lock does not affect APP operations.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Full prompt

1. The "Full" lamp illuminates when the waste bin is nearly full, reminding the user to replace the garbage bag.
2. If the "Full" lamp is on but there is still space, calibrate the "Full" status in the APP settings.

Capacity calibration: Adjust the "Full" prompt sensitivity based on litter type:

• Tofu litter and mixed litter: 0-7
• Bentonite litter: 5-10
• Mineral litter: 8-15

Notice: The "Full" prompt is a reference; replace the garbage bag promptly when indicated.

Replace garbage bags

1. Press "Clean" for 2 seconds to adjust the waste bin to the bag changing angle and remove the used bag.
2. The litter box remains in this angle for 60 seconds for bag replacement. It will auto-return if not completed within this time.
3. Align the drawstring hole of the new bag with the tie-up pile and clamp the bag opening under the locating clip.
4. Wrap the new bag's mouth around the waste bin door frame and pull the drawstring.
5. Tuck the drawstring into the tie-up pile, tighten, and wind.
6. Tidy the back of the bag to prevent interference with the waste bin cover. Close the waste bin and ensure the buckle is fastened.

Notice:

• Ensure the waste bin door is not obstructed and opens/closes normally after replacing the bag.
• Replace garbage bags promptly (recommended: within 3 days in summer, 7 days in winter) for hygiene.

Replace litter

1. Replace the garbage bag before emptying the litter.
2. Press "Replace litter" for 2 seconds. The "Replace litter" lamp flashes, and the litter box collects all remaining litter into the garbage bag.
3. After litter replacement, open the waste bin and remove the garbage bag.

Notice:

• Replace litter when it's below the MIN line.
• If litter remains after the process, repeat "Replace litter".
• Pressing "Replace litter" again cancels the process and returns the box to its original position.
• Litter replacement is not allowed during "Remove odor" mode. Turn off "Remove odor" first.

Cleaning and Installation

1. Empty the barrel and waste bin.
2. Disconnect power, open the barrel buckle, and lift the barrel.
3. Cleaning: The barrel can be washed with water. The host base contains electrical components and should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
4. Installation: After cleaning, dry/wipe components. Install the barrel by aligning the rotating shaft with the fixed slot, close the buckle, and ensure the waste bin is closed. Power on, wait for self-test completion, and the "Auto" lamp to light up. Replace garbage bags and add litter as per instructions.

Notice:

• Clean the litter box regularly based on usage and ambient temperature.
• If the yellow rubber plug was removed, replace it after cleaning.
• Do not remove the filter or the gray soft part in the barrel to avoid damage.

Circuit Diagram
