Quick Reference Guide
- Take out the wheelchair and spare parts from the packing box.

Practice Before Operation
⚠️ Failure to follow the instructions below may result in damage to the electric wheelchair or serious injury.
Find an open area such as a park and have an assistant to help you practice until you can operate this vehicle skillfully.
Make sure that the power is off before getting on or off the seat. Set the speed control button according to your driving needs. It is recommended to keep the speed at the slowest shift until you are familiar with the driving characteristics of this vehicle.

Operation: Stop, Forward, and Reverse
Push the joystick in the directions indicated to drive accordingly.
- First, practice moving forward at the lowest speed.
- After familiarizing with moving forward, practice "S" turns.
- After familiarizing with moving forward, practice moving backward, paying attention to speed control.

Safety Instructions and Warnings
General Safety
Follow these instructions to reduce the chance of brakes going out of control or serious damage to the electric wheelchair.
- Do not turn on hand-held personal communication devices (e.g., CB radios, cellular phones) while the powered wheelchair is turned on.
- Be aware of nearby transmitters (e.g., radio or TV stations) and try to avoid coming close to them.
- If unintended movement or brake release occurs, turn the powered wheelchair off immediately for safety.
- Be aware that adding accessories or modifying the powered wheelchair may make it more susceptible to interference from radio wave sources.
- Report all incidents of unintended movement or brake release to the powered wheelchair seller.
Immediate Power Off Conditions
When the following occurs, immediately turn off the electric wheelchair power supply:
- Sudden movement
- Operation direction is not controlled
- Brake failure
Specific Safety Instructions
- Do not carry passengers.
- Do not drive across a slope.
- Do not drive drunk.
- Do not trail other vehicles.
- Do not use hand-held personal communication devices.
- Do not drive the power wheelchair without reading this manual.
- Do not exceed the safe climbing maximum angle.
- Do not use the joystick erratically when going up or down inclines.
- Do not exceed the maximum user weight.
- Do not press the On/Off Button of the controller when the power wheelchair is moving, as this can cause electromagnetic brakes to fail or damage the joystick controller.
Terrain and Environment
- Do not drive over deep and soft terrain (e.g., soft dirt, loose gravel, or deep grass).
- Do not attempt to climb stairs higher than 50mm (2") unless a slide way is installed.
- Do not operate the power wheelchair if no one is seated on it.
- Drive only on footpaths, not on traffic ways.
- Do not change driving direction or reverse before the wheelchair has stopped steady.
- When going down gradients, engage a slow speed and move the joystick to the central position.
- Always use the safety belt.
- Always keep feet on the footrest while driving.
- Ensure batteries are fully charged before setting out on a journey.
- Charge the power wheelchair in a well-ventilated area.
Maintenance Reminders
- When a wheel screw is loose, replace it with a standard configuration screw using a wrench.
- When passing a slope, move the seat as far back as possible.
Reminder: As an electric wheelchair, the driver must follow all rules and regulations, like any other driver.

Precautions When Driving on Slopes
Driving on a slope is much more dangerous than driving on a flat road. Falling or losing control can happen and cause serious harm to users and others.

Terminology
- Joystick: The device used to "move" the power chair.
- Controller: The device that allows joysticks to function.
- Armrests: Where arms can rest during time spent on the power chair.
- Footrest: Where feet can rest during time spent on the power chair.
- Anti-tip Wheels: Wheels that allow slight tipping, or prevent tipping while driving.
- Drive Wheel: Wheels that move the power chain; these are the main wheels.
- Caster Wheel: The front wheels.
Joystick Controller Operation
WARNING
⚠️ Do not use the electric wheelchair until the motor is unlocked. Do not disassemble the motor, as this may cause performance decline and damage.
Assemble the Controller
- Install the controller on the controller connection.
- Adjust the controller connection tube to the appropriate length, then tighten the plum nut.
- Plug the plug into the left and right motor and battery.

Controller Operation
- Try to avoid knocking the controller, especially the joystick. Do not beat or hit the controller while traveling.
- Ensure the control system is safe and reliable when operating the wheelchair.
Operating Environment
- Do not keep the control system and its components in a humid environment for long periods.
- Clean up immediately if the control system contacts food or drink.
Cleaning
- Dilute deodorant with a cloth to wipe the control system and joystick. Be particularly careful when wiping the joystick.
- Do not use abrasives or similar cleaners.

On/Off Button and Power Display
The ON/OFF button provides power to the electronic components and the wheelchair motor. It can be used to stop the wheelchair in emergencies.
The power display shows the current battery power. The indicator light shows the wheelchair is on.
Turn On the Power
Press the power button. Each indicator will light up. The current battery charge status will also be shown.

Press the power button. The indicator light will go off.
Joystick Functionality
The main function of the Joystick is to control the speed and direction of the wheelchair. The operation of the joystick movement determines the wheelchair's speed in that direction. The farther the joystick moves from the center, the faster the wheelchair runs. The wheelchair automatically brakes when the joystick is released.
Speed Display (S1-S5)
This indicates the wheelchair speed setting. There are 5 levels: S1 is the lowest speed, and S5 is the highest speed.
Horn
Press the Horn button to emit a sound.
Deceleration Button
This button reduces the speed setting gear; the corresponding speed indicator light turns off. It has no effect when driving.
Accelerated Button
This button increases the speed setting gear; the corresponding speed indicator light turns on. It has no effect when driving.
Self-Help Guidance
If a system failure occurs, check the position of the flashing lamp on the speed display and battery indicator. Refer to the "controller status indication description" list for corresponding abnormal sounds and processing.
Rear Wheel Clutch Fork
Clutch Mode: When parked, the electric brake engages. To push the wheelchair manually, push the red handle to "manual mode". Electric drive becomes invalid.
Handle Model: Simply push the red handle to manual mode.
ATTENTION: Keep the wheelchair in electric state. The clutch device is only for manual pushing when needed (e.g., in shops or crowded places).
Push the Wheelchair
- Pull the two motor clutch forks to the left or right.
- Push the wheelchair.

Fold Your Wheelchair
- Step 1: Pull the small spanner on the outside of the left and right armrests downwards to make the armrests loose. (Note: Some may have push buttons that release the armrest.)
- Step 2: Loosen the rear lock, put the U-shaped locking down.
- Step 3: Hold the push frame with one hand and the seat cushion frame with the other. Use both hands to force it until the wheelchair is completely folded.

Armrest Adjustment and Battery Removal
Back Flip Rotating Armrest
Pull the small spanner on the outside of the left and right armrests down so they are loose, then turn them back. For users whose legs cannot bear weight or turn the armrest independently, an assistant's help is recommended. Assistants must have appropriate training.
Remove the Battery
- Step 1: Pull out the power plug.
- Step 2: Hold down the locking catch to disengage the battery from the frame and pull out the battery compartment.

Battery Use and Care
Battery Specifications
The electric wheelchair uses a 24V, maintenance-free, sealed lithium battery. It is designed to handle deep discharges and cannot be replaced. It is not compatible with car batteries.
Battery Charge and Discharge
To maximize battery efficiency:
- Fully charge the battery during initial use for optimal performance (achieve 90% effect).
- When using at home or in the yard, start slowly and do not drive too far until you adapt to the control system. Allow the battery to discharge fully.
- Charge the battery for 8-14 hours. It can then operate at over 90% potential.
- After 4-5 charge/discharge cycles, the battery effect reaches 100% for long-term use.
Important Battery Information
- Frequent charging provides reliable performance and long battery life. Keep the battery fully charged whenever possible; regular discharge is beneficial.
- Infrequent or incomplete charging can cause permanent battery damage, leading to unreliable operation and reduced battery life.
- If the wheelchair is not used often, charge it weekly to maintain battery activity.
- For shipping, contact the shipping company in advance to ensure transport requirements are met.
- Maintenance-free, fully enclosed lead-acid batteries are safe, green, and environmentally friendly.
- Dispose of used batteries according to relevant state provisions.
Charger
The charger is a crucial component that provides energy to your wheelchair safely, quickly, and easily.
Regular Checks, Warranty, and Storage
Regular Checks
- Motor carbon brush: Check every six months at a local dealer.
- Joystick/controller: Keep away from damp and moist air, as these can easily damage the controller and void the warranty.
- Battery cable: Check for corrosion.
Cleaning
- Clean the wheelchair with a damp cloth. Do not use water.
One Year Warranty
From the date of purchase, BLIMO provides repairs and replacements to the original purchaser. The local dealer or BLIMO will inspect and cover any of the following damaged parts: motor; controller and operating handle.
Storage Conditions
Store the wheelchair in a clean room with relative humidity ≤80%, free from non-corrosive gases, and well-ventilated.
Appendix: Remote Controller Setup
Setup:
- Take out the wheelchair and spare parts from the packing box.
- Install the controller to the right or left armrest of the driver.
- Take out the remote controller from the box.

Pairing Instructions
- Press the power button of the power wheelchair and turn it on.
- Press the power button of the remote controller for 5 seconds (ensure two AAA batteries are installed).
- Press the deceleration button on the joystick until the middle light is on.
- Press the horn button to automatically match.
- Press the down arrow button until the power button of the remote control stops flashing and enters the matching state.
- The joystick light turns off, indicating matching is complete.
- The remote controller can now function in place of the joystick.
