Quick Start Guide
INSTALLATION
Unpacking Unpack the enclosure and handle with care. If any item is missing or appears to have been damaged in shipment, contact your DW representative and request a replacement. Keep the box for future use, it is the safest container in which the enclosure may be transported.
Installation 1. Remove the cover by removing the two (2) flat head screws with the Torx wrench provided. 2. Using the enclosure, mark and drill at least two (2) mounting holes and one (1) cable entry hole for the fasteners and conduit/ cable run. a. If using the fasteners provided, drill a 1/4" hole for the drywall anchors and tap them lightly into place. b. If no anchor is required, drill 5/32" holes for the fasteners. 3. Position the backbox over the drilled holes and install the fasteners. Tighten until secure.
Mounting Holes (4) Cable Entry Knockouts (4)
4. Attach the camera bracket to the backbox using the two M2 screws provided. Run the camera cable through the knockout and connect the camera to the network box. Using the adjustable mounting bracket, move the camera to the desired field of view, then tighten the M2 screws. 5. Refer to the camera manual to adjust camera settings as needed.
6. The enclosure has tinted (default) and clear viewing window options. In low-light conditions, it may be desirable to use a clear viewing window. Remove the two (2) nuts securing the window retaining plate using a small adjustable wrench to change the viewing windows. Remove the plate and the window. Place the clear window in the frame, replace the retaining plate, and secure it by tightening the nuts to equal pressure.
7. Reinstall the camera faceplate. Position the locating pin at the bottom of the camera case. Slide the faceplate up to align the two threaded holes. Install the screws and tighten them to finish.
