The eLinkSmart Fingerprint Padlock provides a secure and convenient way to protect your belongings using biometric technology. Your fingerprint acts as the key, eliminating the need for traditional keys or complex passwords. This compact and durable padlock is suitable for various applications, both indoors and outdoors.

2. Malangizo Kukhazikitsa

2.1 Kulipira Koyamba

Before first use, fully charge the padlock using the provided USB cable. The charging port is located at the bottom of the device. A full charge typically takes 1-2 hours.

2.2 Fingerprint Registration (Administrator)

The first two fingerprints registered will be designated as administrator fingerprints. These are crucial for managing other fingerprints and resetting the device.

  1. With the padlock unlocked, press and hold your finger on the fingerprint sensor until the blue light illuminates. Release your finger.
  2. When the green light illuminates, repeatedly tap your finger on the sensor from various angles until the green light turns off. This collects your fingerprint data.
  3. Repeat step 2 with a different finger to register the second administrator fingerprint. Ensure both administrator fingerprints are successfully registered.

2.3 Registering Additional Fingerprints

After registering the first two administrator fingerprints, you can add up to 18 more user fingerprints (total of 20). This process must be initiated by an administrator.

  1. With the padlock unlocked, an administrator should press and hold their finger on the sensor until the blue light illuminates. Release the finger.
  2. The new user should then repeatedly tap their finger on the sensor from various angles until the green light turns off, indicating successful registration.

3.1 Kutsegula ndi Fingerprint

To unlock the padlock, simply place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The padlock will unlock within 0.1 seconds if the fingerprint is recognized.

3.2 Emergency Unlock (Resetting Fingerprints)

In case of emergency (e.g., all registered fingers are unavailable or forgotten), you can reset the padlock to its factory default state, allowing any finger to unlock it. This process requires an administrator fingerprint.

  1. With the padlock unlocked, an administrator should press and hold their finger on the sensor until the red light illuminates. Continue holding until the green light flashes once.
  2. Release the finger. All registered fingerprints are now deleted, and the padlock is reset to its default state, where any finger can unlock it.

4. Kusamalira

4.1 Charging the Padlock

The padlock is equipped with a 110mAh lithium-ion battery. When the battery is low, a red light will flash three times during unlocking attempts. Connect the padlock to a 5V USB power source using the provided USB cable to charge it. A full charge takes approximately 1-2 hours.

4.2 Kuyeretsa ndi Kusamalira

Wipe the padlock with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the fingerprint sensor is clean for optimal performance. While the padlock is waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion in water.

5. Mavuto

  • If the issue persists, re-register your fingerprint.

5.2 Padlock Not Responding (Dead Battery)

If the padlock does not respond, the battery may be completely drained. Connect the padlock to a USB power source for charging. Once sufficient charge is restored, you can unlock it with a registered fingerprint.
