Note: Before plugging in and turning on, remember the “last on, first off” rule for powered speakers. When powering up your system, ensure that all wires are connected, turn on your mixer/interface and any other outboard gear, and finally turn on your monitor. When powering down, switch off your monitor first, followed by your mixer/interface and outboard gear.

Speaker Placement

To ensure optimal sound performance, position the NUX AXON 3 monitors vertically on a firm surface or stand, maintaining a clear line of sight to the speakers without any obstacles between them and your ears. Avoid placing them near vibrating objects, as these can interfere with sound clarity.

Placement
For optimal sound, position the point between the woofer and tweeter at ear level. If the monitors are placed significantly higher or lower, adjust their angle to maintain proper alignment. Use the integrated rubber pads to tilt speakers upward when positioned below ear level, ensuring accurate sound direction and acoustic decoupling.

NUX-AXON-3-Studio-Reference-Monitor- (11)

Position
To achieve optimal stereo performance with the NUX AXON 3, position yourself at the peak of an equilateral triangle, with each monitor placed at the other two points. Ensure symmetry by placing each speaker equidistant from side walls, the ceiling, and the floor to balance reflections. For clear sound and 1D prevent low-frequency boost,   the moni1Drs at least 20 cm (8 inches) away from walls.
