Viktige sikkerhetsinstruksjoner

Oppsett
- Utpakking: Fjern forsiktig all emballasje fra vannkokeren og bunnen.
- Innledende rengjøring: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX fill line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Plassering: Place the heating base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter.
- Strømtilkobling: Ensure the kettle is properly seated on the heating base. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Bruksanvisning
Fylle vannkokeren
- Fjern kjelen fra basen.
- Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark.
- Close the lid securely and place the kettle back on its heating base.
Using Preset Temperature Programs
The Mecity Electric Kettle features a touch screen with 6 preset temperature programs for various beverages:
- Ensure the kettle is filled with water and placed on the base.
- The touch screen will illuminate.
- Select your desired preset temperature by tapping the corresponding icon on the touch screen:
- Infant Formula: 104 °F (40 °C)
- Grønn te: 175 °F (79 °C)
- Hvit te: 185 °F (85 °C)
- Oolong-te: 190 °F (88 °C)
- Kaffe: 200 °F (93 °C)
- Kok opp: 212 °F (100 °C)
- The kettle will begin heating the water to the selected temperature. The current temperature will be displayed on the screen.
- Once the target temperature is reached, the kettle will automatically shut off or enter Keep Warm mode if selected.

Hold varm funksjon
After reaching the target temperature, you can activate the Keep Warm function to maintain the water temperature for up to 2 hours.
- After selecting a preset temperature and the kettle has heated the water, tap the "Warm" icon on the touch screen.
- The kettle will maintain the water temperature for up to 2 hours.
- To deactivate, tap the "ON/OFF" button or remove the kettle from its base.

Rask koking
The 1500W heating element allows for rapid boiling:
- 500ml water: approximately 3 minutes
- 1000ml water: approximately 4.5 minutes
- 1700ml water (full capacity): approximately 7 minutes
Note: Boiling times are approximate and may vary based on initial water temperature and ambient conditions.

Vedlikehold og rengjøring
Regular cleaning will help prolong the life of your kettle and ensure optimal performance.
- Trekk alltid ut støpselet til vannkokeren fra stikkontakten og la den avkjøles helt før rengjøring.
- Utvendig rengjøring: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the heating base with a soft, damp klut. Ikke bruk slipende rengjøringsmidler eller skuresvamper, da de kan ripe opp overflaten.
- Innvendig rengjøring (avkalking): Over tid kan det bygge seg opp mineralavleiringer (kalk) inni vannkokeren, spesielt i områder med hardt vann.
- Fyll vannkokeren med 1 del hvit eddik og 2 deler vann.

- Filterrengjøring: The spout filter can be removed for cleaning. Rinse it under running water and gently brush away any deposits. Ensure it is securely re-inserted before use.
