MH10 Instruction
Remote Control Settings
The MH10 remote control allows for comprehensive adjustment of sensor and lighting parameters. Below is a guide to its buttons and their functions.
Remote Image Description | Button | Remarks |
---|---|---|
The remote control features the following buttons:
| ON/OFF [power-toggle] | Press the "ON/OFF" button for constant on/off mode; the sensor is disabled. Pressing any other button resumes sensor operation. |
Reset [reset-button] | Press "Reset" to restore all parameters to DIP switch or factory default settings. | |
Sensor motion [motion-sensor-mode] | Press "Sensor motion" to exit constant on/off mode and re-enable sensor function. The latest settings remain active. | |
DIM Test [dim-test-button] | Press "DIM Test" to verify 1-10Vdc dimming connections. The function tests for 2 seconds before returning to the last setting. | |
DIM+ [dim-up] / DIM- [dim-down] | Short press "DIM+/DIM-" to adjust lamp brightness by 5% increments. This function is applicable for sensors with daylight harvesting. | |
DH Mode [daylight-harvesting-mode] | Long press (>3s) activates daylight harvesting. The sensor dims the lamp up or down to match the ambient light level, aiming for a target lux level. Applicable for sensors with daylight harvesting. | |
Scene Presets (QS1, QS2, QS3) | Used to recall pre-set lighting scenes. | |
HS [high-sensitivity] / LS [low-sensitivity] | Press "HS" for high detection area sensitivity or "LS" for low sensitivity. These settings are based on the configured "Detection Area" parameter. | |
Daylight Sensor (5L to Disable) | Sets the daylight threshold for sensor operation. Options include 5Lux, 15Lux, 30Lux, 50Lux, 100Lux, 150Lux, or Disable. | |
Stand-by period (0S to +∞) | Sets the duration the light remains at stand-by dim level after no motion is detected. Options: 0S, 10S, 1min, 3min, 5min, 10min, 30min, +∞ [infinite-standby]. | |
Hold time (5S to 30min) | Sets the duration the light remains at full brightness after motion is detected. Options: 5S, 30S, 1min, 3min, 5min, 10min, 20min, 30min. | |
Stand-by dim level (10% to 50%) | Sets the brightness level when the light is in stand-by mode. Options: 10%, 20%, 30%, 50%. | |
Detection Area (25% to 100%) | Adjusts the coverage area for motion detection. Options: 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%. | |
TEST 2S [test-mode-2s] | Pressing "TEST 2S" enters a test mode with specific parameters: 100% Detection Area, 2s Hold Time, 10% Stand-by Dim Level, 0s Stand-by Period, and Daylight Sensor Disabled. Press "RESET" or any other function button to exit test mode. |
Note: Detection area, hold time, stand-by period, stand-by dim level, and daylight sensor settings can be adjusted using their respective buttons. The most recent setting remains valid.
Remote Control and Code Setting Conversion
- DIP Switch Setting to Remote Control: Press any button on the remote control, except "RESET". The sensor's settings will then adopt the function selected by the remote control. (Button settings that have no function are ignored).
- Remote Control to DIP Switch Setting:
- Press the "RESET" button on the remote control. All settings will revert to the sensor's DIP switch configurations.
- Alternatively, turn off the power, change the DIP switches as needed, then reconnect the power. All settings will revert to the DIP switch configurations upon power-up.
Unique Design of Infrared Transmitting Device
The infrared transmitting device features adjustable detection ranges, influencing its sensing capabilities:
- 5m Level: Detects motion within a maximum range of 3 meters.
- 10m Level: Detects motion within a maximum range of 4 meters.
- 15m Level: Detects motion within a maximum range of 5 meters.
These levels correspond to different sensitivity and coverage areas for motion detection.
