How to use Neo smartpen
- Make sure to charge your pen before using.
Power ON/OFF
- If you press the Power button, the pen will be activated with LED lights on within a second.
- When the power is on, hold the Power button for more than 2 seconds, and the power will turn off with flashing LED lights.
- If there is no action taken for more than 20 minutes, the power will be turned off automatically.
RESET the pen
- If the pen does not operate properly for any reason, please RESET the pen.
- If you press the Power button for more than 10 seconds, the pen will be turned off with RESET.
Charging the pen
- Connect the pen to the computer with the provided USB cable.
- Alternatively, you can use other USB charger for your mobile phone. (Recommended for 5.5V, and the charging time can be different depending on charging environment.)
- The LED indicator light will be red while charging the pen. When charging is completed, the LED indicator light will be changed to green. After charging is fully completed, if the pen is not used for a while (usually 20 minutes), the green LED will be turned off automatically.
- Make sure to charge immediately after purchasing the pen.
CAUTION
- The battery is a consumable item, and its lifetime is reduced as time passes.
- The Neo smart pen battery is a built-in rechargeable lithium battery.
- Make sure to charge the pen at room temperature (10 degrees to 35 degrees Celsius)
- Do not charge the pen in a low or too high temperature environment.
How to grip
- The recognition rate is heavily affected by the direction of the optical sensor’s angle.
- Deviating from the appropriate degree or holding the pen in the wrong direction could cause difficulties with capturing your writing or drawing.
Usage Angle
- Hold the pen that does not cause pressure on the wrist and maintain a natural writing angle.
Allowable Recognition Angle
- The pen’s acceptable recognition angle is -20 degrees to +40 degrees (90-degree vertical standard)
Grip direction
- The optical sensor(oval-shaped part) of the pen should face the paper (downwards)
Wrong Grip
- If the optical sensor(oval-shaped part) of the pen faces upwards(reserved), the pen will not recognize your writing or drawing properly.
- Do not block the optical sensor with your fingers during writing or drawing.
- Please avoid strong pressure or shock to the ballpoint refill tip.
- Make sure to close the Pen cap every time after using the pen. Otherwise, accumulated dust or debris on the optical sensor affects the recognition of writing or drawing.
- When you find accumulated dust or debris on the optical sensor, please wipe it gently with a cotton swab.
