Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Download the myStrom app from the official app store.
- Open the app and create a free account or log in with your existing account.
LED Functions
- White LED: Indicates a successful WiFi connection to the myStrom service.
- White Blinking LED: Activates WiFi pairing mode (WPS).
- Red LED: Indicates the device is in Start/Boot mode or connection is in progress.
On/Off Button
The on/off button can be used to manually switch the connected device on and off.
Other Functions
To perform a WPS Reset, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the on/off button for 3-5 seconds until the LED flashes white slowly.
- Press and hold the on/off button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes white quickly.
FAQs
- Q: How do I know if the WiFi connection is successful?
- A: The white LED indicator will be solid when the WiFi connection is OK and connected to the myStrom service.
- Q: How can I reset the device using WPS?
- A: To perform a WPS Reset, press and hold the on/off button for the specified duration until the LED flashes accordingly.
- Q: WiFi Switch not working?
- Restart it – simply unplug it and plug it in again.
- Plug it close to your DSL Router – if the LED lights up in white, the WiFi Switch works perfectly and could have suffered from a weak WiFi signal in its previous location.
- Reconnect it – activate WPS first on your Router, then on your WiFi Switch.
INSTALLTION
- Download the myStrom app
- Launch app
- Open a free account or connect with your existing one.
- Add WiFi Switch
- Select «Add device» in the menu to add your new WiFi Switch.
- All Done
