2. Safety Information

3.2. Physical Connection

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press the power button located on the control panel. The display will illuminate.

4.2. Loading Material

  1. Lift the pinch rollers.
  2. Place your cutting material (vinyl, paper, etc.) onto the cutting mat or directly into the plotter, aligning it with the guides.
  3. Lower the pinch rollers to secure the material. Ensure the material is flat and free of wrinkles.

4.3. Wi-Fi Connectivity

  1. On the plotter's control panel, navigate to the "Settings" menu.
  2. Select "Network" or "Wi-Fi Settings".
  3. Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password if prompted.
  4. Confirm the connection. The plotter should display a connected status.

4.4. Sending a Cut Job

  1. Prepare your design in the cutting software on your computer.
  2. Ensure the plotter is connected (USB or Wi-Fi) and powered on.
  3. In the software, select the KSIX 2025 plotter as your output device.
  4. Adjust cutting parameters (force, speed, number of passes) as needed for your material.
  5. Click "Send" or "Cut" in the software to initiate the cutting process.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Cutting Area: Regularly remove any small pieces of material or debris from the cutting area and around the blade holder.
  • Pinch Rollers: Clean the pinch rollers with a lint-free cloth to ensure proper material grip.

5.2. Blade Replacement

  1. Ensure the plotter is powered off and unplugged.
  2. Carefully remove the blade holder from the carriage.
  3. Unscrew the cap of the blade holder and remove the old blade.
  4. Insert a new blade, ensuring it is properly seated.
  5. Replace the cap and reinsert the blade holder into the carriage.
  6. Caution: Blades are extremely sharp. Handle with care.
