Warning

Note
- Please read through the manual carefully.
- Battery can only be charged indoors.
- Double insulation, grounding not required.
- Never empty the battery when not in use. It is recommended to charge the battery once a month to prolong the battery life.
- Battery charging will automatically cut off when overheating occurs.
- The battery should not be charged for more than 6 hours

It is forbidden to discared scrapped machinery and equipment at will.
Precaution For Use
- Before starting the working day, make sure the battery is sufficiently charged. Always disconnect the pruning shears from the power cord for all operations other than trimming. MOST IMPORTANTLY, REMEMBER TO DO SO WHEN SHARPENING OR LUBRICATING.
- Check that the blade is correctly tightened every morning.
Operation and characteristic
- Activate the machine:Press the red button at bottom of pruner for about 1 second
- Product activation: when the powers on, continuously pull the trigger key twice to open the blade.
- Cutter head close: In the power on state: hold the trigger key until you hear four beep-sound, movable blade will close.
- Change the width of the cutter head opening and closing: in the power on state, long-press the trigger key until you hear beep sound, change the width of the cutter head opening and closing.
- Shut down the machine: press the red button on top of pruner for about 2 seconds and successfully shut down after hearing a beep sound.

Packing up
- Press the trigger and hold for a few seconds and then release, the blade will close and will not open.
- Disconnect the power cord from battery.
- Tidy up, clean up and pack the pruner into the tool box.
Charging the battery
- It is recommended to charge new battery before the first use of the electric pruner. Plug the battery charger output into the battery charging jack then plug the charger into a power socket. The LED indicator on the battery will turn RED during charging and turn GREEN when the battery is fully charged.
- The battery takes about 5-6 hours to attain full charge. A fully charged battery can sustain 8-10 hours of continuous pruning operation.
Cautions
- During charging, it is normal for the charger and battery to be warm.
- lf the battery is not use for a long period of time, it recommended to charge the battery once every 3 months, this is to ensure the battery life is not affected by low usage.
- For new battery or battery unused for a long time, it will need about 5 charge-discharge cycles before achieving full capacity.
- Do not recharge a fully charged battery just after a few minutes of usage, this will reduce the battery lifespan and efficiency.
- Do not use a damaged battery and disassemble the charger or battery.
- Do not place battery near high temperature heat source, the battery will explode in fire or long exposure to high temperature heat source.
- Do not charge the battery in outdoor or humid environment.
- lt is normal for the pruning shear to reduce cutting diameter when the battery capacity is getting low.
- Do not use the pruning shear during charging. It must be disconnected from the battery during charging.
- Do not store the battery in a humid environment.
Lubrication
- For all these operations you must disconnect the pruning shears. Lubricate at least twice per day (early morning and early afternoon).
- For correct lubrication the pruning shear blade must be unlocked.
To do this:
- There is a oil filling port at the reverse of the pruner
- Place the oil bottle nozzle in the lubricating port. Hold the oil bottle up-right and then lubricate.
- Operate the pruner, make the lubrication is well-proportioned.
Blade tightening
- For all these operations you must disconnect the pruning shears.
- Check the blade tightening every morning. A well tightened blade should not move from left to right.If the blade is correctly tightened you should be able to close the pruning shears manually (without forcing).
To adjust the tightness:
- Using toolkit to unlock the screw and remove it.
- Use internal hexagonal wrench provided and adjust the nut tension until the tool clicks.
- Lock the bolt and then check the tightness using the above procedure.
Operations and Maintenance for Battery
- Do not charge battery with ambient temperature below 32°F(0°C)or above 139°F(45 °C).
- Please ensure the battery is switched off before connecting the power cord to the battery.
- Only use battery charger as supplied together with the pruning shear, the use of any other charger not matching to the charging specification of the battery may cause fire.
- ltems such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or any other conductive items must be keep away from battery when not in use.
- Do not disassemble the battery
- Do not short-circuit the battery.
- Do not use the battery beside heat source.
- Do not put the battery in fire or in water.
- Do not charge the battery near fire or under direct sunlight
- Do not insert nail into the battery, hammer the battery, stomp the battery, throw the battery or any other form of shocks to the battery.
- Do not use battery that is damaged or deformed.
- Do not perform soldering or welding on the battery.
- Do not reverse direction of charging battery, reverse polarity of connections or excessive discharge of battery.
- Do not connect the battery to charging outlets or car cigarette lighter
- Do not use the battery on equipment other than the designated pruner
- Do not direct contact with lithium cells in the battery.
- Do not place the battery in microwave, high temperature or high pressured vessel.
- Do not use the battery that is leaking.
- Keep the battery out of CHILDR
- Do not use or place the battery under direct sunlight (or in vehicle that are under direct sunlight)that will cause the battery to overheat or burn shortening the battery lifespan.
- Do not use the battery in electrostatic environment (above 64V)
- Do not use battery that is corroded,with unpleasant odor or unusual appearance.
- lf the skin or clothing comes into direct contact with battery fluid,wash with clear water immediately.
- Maintain the battery fully charged when the pruning shear is not used for a long period of time.

- Keep work area clean and bright,messy and dimmed workplace may cause accidents.
- Do not use the pruner in explosive,inflammable or humid environment.
- Keep CHILDREN and by stander away before operating the pruner to avoid accidental injury due to distraction.
Work area safety
- Pruning shear battery socket must be compatible with the power cable plug, do not modify the socket and plug.
- Do not exposed the pruning shear to rain,humid environment,water on any other moisture that will risk electrical shock.
- Do not misuse the power cord.Do not lift or pull the pruning shear by the power cord. Keep the pruning shears away from heat oil,sharp edges or moving parts.
Human Safety
- Keep alert while using the pruning shear.Do not operate the pruning shear when you are tired or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Use protective devices,always wear safety goggles as well as other safety tools such as dust mask,anti-slide boots,helmet and hearing protective devices that will reduce the risk of injury.
- Before powering ON the pruning shear, ensure all adjusting tools and spanners are removed. Tools left on the rotating parts of pruning shear may result injury.
- Do not over stretch hands when operating the pruning shear, keep both hands away from cutting area. Do not under any circumstances place the hands beneath the branches, at the same ensure the surface and under-side of the branches do not have any material that can be damage by cutting edges. Always maintain balance and in control of pruning shear in any situation.
- Dress appropriately, do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing and sleeves away from the pruning shear. Loose clothing.
Irregularity Measures
- In the event the pruning shear is not able to cut through an object, released the trigger immediately and the moving blade will return to its open position automatically.
- ln the event the pruning shear is cutting through a branch of particularly hardness, released the trigger immediately and the moving blade will return to its open position automatically.
- ln the event the battery is not charging properly, please check if the charger is the one provided with the package during purchase. Next is to ensure the supply voltage to the charger is same rating as the specification of the charger
- ln the event of electric or mechanical malfunction, power OFF immediately.
- Operating not following instructions in this manual may result battery fluid leakage, do not contact the leaked battery fluid. In the event of accidental contact with battery fluid, clean with clear water immediately. If the battery fluid keeps in contact with the eyes, wash with clear water and must seek hospital assistance. Fluid from leaked battery may caused irritations or burns.
