ES60 MIDI Settings Manual
The term MIDI is an acronym for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, an international standard for connecting musical instruments, computers, and other devices to allow the exchange of performance data.
When the instrument is connected to a computer using a USB cable, the computer will recognise the instrument as a MIDI device, allowing the instrument to send and receive MIDI messages in the same manner as a normal MIDI interface.
Use a suitable USB cable to connect the USB type A port on the computer to the USB type B port on the digital piano. If there is no USB type A port on the computer, a conversion adapter may be required.

MIDI use case
When connected to a computer, the digital piano can be used to record and playback performances using sequencer software running on the computer. When multi-timbral mode is enabled on the digital piano, it becomes possible to record and playback multi-track songs, with different sounds playing simultaneously on each MIDI channel.

MIDI functions
The following functions are available with MIDI.
Transmit/receive note information Transmit/receive note information from a MIDI-connected musical instrument or device.
Transmit/receive Program Change number Transmit/receive program change data to/from a MIDI connected musical instrument or device.
Transmit/receive pedal data Transmit/receive sustain, sostenuto, and soft pedal data from a MIDI-connected musical instrument or device.
Receive volume data Receive MIDI volume data sent from a MIDI-connected musical instrument or device.

Transmit/receive channel settings Specify transmit/receive channels within the range of 1 to 16.
Multi-timbral mode setting Receive multiple channel MIDI data from a MIDI-connected musical instrument or device. * Multi-timbral mode setting must be enabled.
Transmit/receive exclusive data Transmit/receive front panel or menu function settings as exclusive data.

MIDI settings

Multi-timbral mode

Explanation This setting determines whether or not the digital piano will transmit program change information when sounds are changed. It is also possible to transmit a program change number (ranging from 1 to 128) in order to change the sound of an external MIDI device. This setting allows the transmit/receive channel to be specified. The selected channel will function as both the transmit and receive channel. Separate transmit/receive channels cannot be specified. This setting determines whether the digital piano will play an internal sound when the keys are pressed. This setting is useful when using the digital piano to control an external MIDI device.
When Local Control is set to "On", the digital piano will play an internal sound and transmit information to an external MIDI device.
When Local Control is set to "Off", the digital piano will transmit information to an external MIDI device only. This setting determines whether or not the digital piano is able to receive MIDI information on more than one MIDI channel simultaneously. This allows the instrument to play back multitrack, multi-timbral performance data sent from an external MIDI device.

Sending a Program Number
Press and hold the [FUNCTION] button, then press the keys indicated below to enter the desired three digit Program Change Number to send.
Example: Press and hold the [FUNCTION] button, then press the E2 key, the E2 key, and the C1 key to enter program change number 001.
· Program Change Numbers are specified as three digits within the range of 001~128. · The Program Change Number will be transmitted automatically when the key for the third digit is pressed. · The Transmit Program Number Change setting is effective until the power is turned off. · Exclusive information is not sent if the Transmit Program Change Number setting is OFF.

ES60 MIDI-Konfigurationsanleitung
Der Abkürzung MIDI steht für Musical Instrument Digital Interface, einem internationalen Stan-dard zur Verbindung von Musikinstrumenten, Computern und anderen Geräten, der diesen Ge-räten erlaubt miteinander zu kommunizieren.
Wenn das Instrument per USB-Kabel mit einem Computer verbunden ist, erkennt der Computer das Instrument als MIDI-Gerät, sodass das Instrument auf die gleiche Weise wie die normale MIDI-Schnittstelle MIDI-Nachrichten senden und empfangen kann.
Ein USB-Anschluss kann entweder vom Typ A oder vom Typ B sein. Verwenden Sie Typ A für den Anschluss eines Computers und Typ B für den Anschluss eines Digitalpianos. Falls es keinen USB-Anschluss für Typ A gibt, wird ein separater Konvertierungsadapter für den Anschluss be-nötigt.

MIDI-Anwendung

Empfang/Senden von Exklusivdaten Es können Bedienfeldeinstellungen oder Menüeinstellungen als Exklusivdaten gesendet oder empfangen werden.

Erklärung

Stellen Sie hier den gewünschten MIDI-Sende-/Empfangskanal ein. Auch wenn technisch zwei Kanäle ein Empfangskanal und ein Sendekanal zur Verfügung stehen, ist es nicht möglich den Sendekanal und den Empfangskanal auf unterschiedliche Kanäle einzustellen.
Diese Funktion legt fest, ob die interne Klangerzeugung des Digitalpianos erklingt, wenn man auf der Tastatur des Digitalpianos spielt. Das Abschalten dieser Funktion ist sehr hilfreich beim Betrieb mit einem externen MIDI-Sequenzer.

Wenn Local Control auf ,,Aus" eingestellt ist, sendet das Digitalpiano nur Informationen an ein externes MIDI-Gerät.
Diese Funktion dient dazu auf verschiedenen MIDI-Kanälen gleichzeitig Daten zu empfangen und unterschiedliche Klänge gleichzeitig zu nutzen. Benutzen Sie diesen Modus, wenn Sie mit einem externen MIDI-Sequenzer arbeiten wollen.

Manuel de réglages MIDI du ES60
Le terme MIDI est un acronyme de Musical Instrument Digital Interface, norme internationale de connexion d'instruments de musique, ordinateurs et autres appareils, qui permet l'échange de données de performance.
Lorsque l'instrument est connecté à un ordinateur à l'aide d'un câble USB, l'ordinateur reconnaît l'instrument en tant qu'appareil MIDI, ce qui permet à l'instrument d'envoyer et de recevoir des messages MIDI de la même manière que l'interface MIDI normale.
Un port USB peut être de type A ou de type B. Utilisez le type A pour connecter un ordinateur et le type B pour connecter un piano numérique. S'il n'y a pas de port USB pour le type A, un adap-tateur de conversion vendu séparément est nécessaire pour le raccordement.

Cas d'utilisation MIDI
Une fois connecté à un ordinateur, le piano numérique peut être utilisé pour enregistrer et lire des performances à l'aide d'un logiciel séquenceur fonctionnant sur votre ordinateur. Explication
Ce réglage détermine si le piano numérique transmet les informations de changement de programme quand les sons sont modifiés. Vous pouvez également transmettre un numéro de changement de programme (entre 1 et 128) pour changer le son d'un appareil MIDI externe.
Ce réglage permet de spécifier le canal de transmission/réception. Le canal sélectionné fonctionne alors comme canal de transmission/réception. Il est impossible de spécifier des canaux de transmission/réception distincts. Ce réglage détermine si le piano numérique joue une sonorité interne quand les touches sont enfoncées. Ce réglage est utile quand vous utilisez le piano numérique pour contrôler un appareil MIDI externe.
Lorsque Contrôle local est réglé sur «Activé», le piano numérique lit une sonorité interne et transmet des informations à un appareil MIDI externe.
Lorsque Contrôle local est réglé sur «Désactivé», le piano numérique ne fait que transmettre des informations à un appareil MIDI externe.
Ce réglage détermine si le piano numérique peut recevoir des informations MIDI sur plusieurs canaux MIDI à la fois. Ceci permet à l'instrument de lire des données multipistes et multitimbres de performance transmises par un appareil MIDI externe.

Manual de ajustes MIDI ES60
El término MIDI es el acrónimo de Musical Instrument Digital Interface (Interfaz Digital de Instrumentos Musicales), y es un estándar internacional para conectar instrumentos musicales, ordenadores y otros dispositivos para permitir el intercambio de datos.
Cuando el instrumento se conecta a un ordenador mediante un cable USB, el ordenador reconoce el instrumento como un dispositivo MIDI que permite al instrumento enviar y recibir mensajes MIDI de la misma manera que la interfaz MIDI normal.
Un puerto USB puede ser de tipo A o de tipo B. Utilice el de tipo A para conectar un ordenador y utilice el de tipo B para conectar un piano digital. Si el tipo A no dispone de puerto USB, es necesario un adaptador de conversión para la conexión.

Ejemplo de uso de MIDI
Cuando se conecta a un ordenador, el piano digital se puede utilizar para grabar y reproducir interpretaciones con el software de secuencia en marcha. Cuando se activa el Multi-timbral Mode en el piano digital, es posible grabar y reproducir canciones de varias pistas, con distintos sonidos reproduciéndose de manera simultánea en cada canal MIDI.

Explicación
Esta configuración determina si o no el piano digital enviará información del cambio de programa cuando los sonidos son cambiados. También es posible emitir un número del cambio de programa (en un rango del 1 a 128) para cambiar el sonido de un dispositivo MIDI externo.
Esta configuración permite especificar el canal de transmitir/recibir. El canal elegido funcionará tanto como emisor como receptor. No se pueden seleccionar canales de emisión y recepción por separado.
Esta configuración determina si el piano digital emitirá un sonido interno cuando las teclas están pulsadas. Esta configuración es útil cuando el piano digital controla un dispositivo MIDI externo.
Cuando Control Local esté activado, el piano digital reproducirá un sonido interno y transmitirá la información a un dispositivo MIDI externo.
Cuando Control Local esté desactivado, el piano digital solo transmitirá la información a un dispositivo MIDI externo.
Esta configuración determina si o no el piano digital puede recibir información MIDI por más de un canal MIDI simultáneamente. Esto permite que el instrumento reproduzca datos de interpretaciones Mult.-pista y Mult.-tímbrico enviados de un dispositivo MIDI externo.

Il termine MIDI è l'acronimo di Musical Instrument Digital Interface, uno standard internazionale per la connessione con strumenti musicali, computers ed altre apparecchiature per lo scambio di dati.
Quando lo strumento è collegato a un computer tramite un cavo USB, il computer riconosce lo strumento come un dispositivo MIDI, consentendo allo strumento di inviare e ricevere messaggi MIDI allo stesso modo della normale interfaccia MIDI.
Una porta USB può essere di tipo A o di tipo B. Utilizzare il tipo A per collegare un computer e il tipo B per collegare un pianoforte digitale. Se il tipo A non ha nessuna porta USB, per effettuare il collegamento è necessario un adattatore di conversione a parte.

Esempi d'uso del MIDI
Quando è collegato a un computer, il pianoforte digitale può essere utilizzato per registrare e riprodurre le performance tramite il software sequenziatore in esecuzione sul computer. Quando la modalità multi-timbrica viene abilitata sul pianoforte digitale, diventa possibile registrare e riprodurre brani multi-traccia, riproducendo contemporaneamente suoni diversi su ciascun canale MIDI.

Spiegazione Questa impostazione determina se il pianoforte digitale trasmette oppure no le informazioni di variazione programma quando vengono cambiati i suoni. E' inoltre possibile trasmettere una variazione di numero di programma (entro una gamma da 1 a 128) per cambiare il suono di un'apparecchiatura MIDI esterna. Questa impostazione permette di specificare il canale di trasmissione/ricezione. Il canale selezionato funzionerà sia come trasmittente che ricevente. Non è possibile specificare canali trasmittenti/riceventi separati. Questa impostazione determina se il pianoforte digitale emetterà un suono interno quando vengono premuti i tasti. Questa impostazione è utile quando il pianoforte digitale è usato per controllare un'apparecchiatura MIDI esterna.
Quando Local Control è impostato su "On", il pianoforte digitale riproduce un suono interno e trasmette le informazioni a un dispositivo MIDI esterno.
Quando Local Control è impostato su "Off", il pianoforte digitale si limita a trasmettere le informazioni a un dispositivo MIDI esterno. Questa impostazione determina se il pianoforte digitale è in grado (oppure no) di ricevere simultaneamente informazioni MIDI su più di un canale.
