Nemesis Media Remote for Xbox Series X|S

The Nemesis Media Remote enhances your Xbox media experience. This guide covers its features, setup, and charging.

Remote Overview

The Nemesis Media Remote features the following controls:

1. Power/Home: Powers the TV and console on/off; returns to the Xbox Home screen.
2. View: Displays additional information in games and apps.
3. Menu: Opens the Xbox Menu for quick access to apps and settings.
4. Select: Used for making selections.
5. Directional Pad (D-Pad): Navigates console screens and media apps (Up, Down, Left, Right).
6. Back: Returns to the previous screen or action.
7. One Guide: Allows programming quick access to a media app.
8. X, Y, A, B Buttons: Standard Xbox controller buttons with their usual functions.
9. Volume Up/Down: Adjusts audio volume.
10. Mute: Silences audio.
11. Channel Up/Down: Changes TV channels.
12. Play/Pause: Controls media playback.
13. Fast Forward: Skips ahead in media.
14. Rewind: Skips back in media.
15. Scene Forward: Advances to the next scene.
16. Scene Back: Goes to the previous scene.
17. Stop: Stops media playback.

Setup and Usage

Your Nemesis Media Remote should automatically pair with your Xbox console upon unboxing.

Power/Home Button

Press the Xbox Nexus button to turn on your TV and console. While watching media, press this button to return to the Xbox "Home" screen. To turn off your console, press and hold the button, then select "turn console off."

View Button

Press this button to pull up more information in games and apps.

Menu Button

Press to bring up the Xbox Menu and quickly access apps, settings, and more.

Directional Pad

Use the directional pad buttons (Up, Down, Right, Left) to navigate your console screen and media apps.

One Guide Button

To program the One Guide button for quick access to a media app:

Go to your Xbox console's "Settings".
Choose "Devices & Connections".
Then select "Media Remote".
Select "Launch App" and choose the media app you'd like to assign.

X, Y, A, B Buttons

These buttons function identically to the standard Xbox controller buttons.

Volume & Channel Controls

Before using volume or channel controls, set up your audio preferences and connect a satellite or cable box in the settings menu:

Go to your Xbox console's "Settings".
Scroll to "General".
Find "TV and Display Options".
Choose "Device Control".
Follow on-screen instructions to set up your TV, Cable/Satellite Box, Audio, or TV tuner.

Note: For setup on an original Xbox One, a Kinect or IR Blaster is required.

Once preferences are set and the device is connected, use the volume and channel buttons to adjust settings.

Mute Volume

Push in the volume rocker (between the up and down volume buttons) to mute volume.

Charging Your Remote

USB-C Cable Charging

The Nemesis Media Remote comes with an included USB-C charging cable. Connect the USB-C end to the bottom of the remote and the other end to your console. Backlit buttons will slowly pulse while charging and turn off when fully charged.

Solar Panel Charging

The remote features a solar panel on the back for sustainable charging. Flip the remote so the solar panel side faces up. The solar panel can also be charged using artificial light sources like incandescent, fluorescent, LED, and UV lights.
