Minpory Smart Ceiling Light Works with Alexa User Manual

Thanks for your choice, please read the user manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

Correct connection is required, please follow the instructions step by step. After installation, this smart ceiling lamp can be controlled by APP or physical switch.

How to Install

1. Rotate the fixed frame as shown by the arrow and take it out
   
2. According to the screw holes position to drill 4 holes in the ceiling, screws can be drilled in the range of the screw holes
   
3. After drilling the expansion screws into the screw holes, using the screws to fix the fixed frame
   
4. Take out the wires from wire hole, connect the L wire and N wire as shown on the fixed frame with the stud screw, screw tightly. （This lamp is made of plastic, Earth wire is unnecessary)
   
5. The arrow on the back of the lamp is aligned with the one on the fixing bracket arrow, turn clockwise for 45 ° to clamp
   

SPECIFICATIONS

Before assembly

1. This is a finished product and is ready to be assembled.
2. Remove all packing materials from the lamp.
3. Do not add new wire connection and consult a qualified electrician if necessary.
4. Lamp is not waterproof, keep it away from water.
5. Make sure the power is off before installation.
6. Check all the parts are included: 1x lamp body, 1x fixing frame, 4 x screws, 4 x expansion screws, 1 x instruction manual.

Assembly instruction

1. First, turn the back of the smart ceiling lamp and rotate the fixing bracket anticlockwise.
2. According to the positioning size of the four screw holes of the fixing frame, drill holes on the ceiling
3. Tap the four expansion screws into the holes drilled in the ceiling, and ensure that all the expansion screws enter.
4. Screw the fixing frame to the ceiling and make sure it is tightened in place
5. Hold the main body of the smart ceiling lamp with both hands, align the arrow direction on the back of the lamp body with the terminal post of the fixing frame, rotate it clockwise for about 45 ° and clamp it tightly. Please be careful not to clip or damage the wire. Turn off the wall switch before assembly
6. Turn on the wall switch and power on.

Add Devices in Smart Life APP

1. Turn the switch ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON, the device will blink to get ready for network connection.
   
2. Make sure your mobile device is connected to your home WiFi ( 2.4GHz only )
3. Enable Bluetooth and Location setting on the mobile device
   
4. Go to ” Smart Life” APP and login with your account, click + on the upper right corner
   
5. A window will pop up and click ” Go to add”, if no pop-up window, please click ” Auto Scan”
   
6. Select the device in the list you want to connect and click ” + ” ( select to connect one by one, not support on multi-device selected )
   
7. Input the ” Password” of your home wifi and click “Confirm” on pop up window
   
8. Wait till the pairing process complete and click “Done” on the upper right corner, it will go to the manage page of this device ( if there are multi devices are ready for network connection, when you click Done, it will go back to the device list )
   Tips :
   1. The name you gave to the device will be used again when pair to Amazon Alexa & Google home for voice control please keep it in mind .
   2. The device name is suggested to consist of English word and arabic numerals, please do not use special character.
      

Works with Amazon Alexa

1. Download the Amazon Alexa APP 
   Search the keywords ” Amazon Alexa ” in the App Store for IOS device and in the Google Play for Android device
2. Sign in or register a new account
3. Pair the Amazon Alexa APP to Amazon Echo device ( follow the Amazon Echo User Manual )
4. Login your Amazon Alexa APP, click the left bar ” Skills ”
   Important tips: please make sure “Smart Life” app, Amazon Alexa APP “Amzon Echo” are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
   
5. Enable Smart Life skill in Alexa APP
   
   1. Click “Smart Home” in the hamburger menu on the Alexa APP’s home page
      
   2. In the popup page, input “Smart Life” in the search bar, click the “Smart Life” in the search result and click the “ENABLE” in the popup page to enable the skills.
      
   3. Login with your “Smart Life” account and password, click “link now”, then click the “Authorize” in the next page.
      
      Tips: Login with “Smart life” account and password, not “Amazon Alexa” account, do not mix up.
   4. Click “Done” in the next page, the Alexa APP will automatically discover the devices, if automatic discovering failed, you can click the “Add Devices” in the pop-up page, the Alexa APP will continuous to discover the device, once finished, you will find the device you named in the popup page( in the page below, we named it: smart bulb ) click the device and you can control the smart bulb on Alexa APP.
      
      
6. Enjoy Amazon Alexa Control
   Now with Amazon Alexa, you can take contol the smart bulb by asking it to change colors, turn lights on and off by using simple commands.
   For example, using these Alexa commands below :
   “Alexa, Turn on/off {specific light}”
   “Alexa, Set the {specific light} to green”
   “Alexa, Set the {specific light} to red
   “Alexa, {specific light} lights fifty”
   “Alexa, {specific light} out”
   Tips : {specific light} is the device name you named on ” Smart Life ” APP .

Works with Google Assistant

1. Download the APP
   Search “Google Home” in APP Store or Google Play to install the APP
2. Register and set up Google Home
   1. Go to the Google Home app and sign in with your Google account & password. (if not registered, sign up first.)
   2. Select the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi and connect it. Then go to the Google Home APP, then follow the on-screen steps to finish the set up until Google Home app is successfully connected to the google home device.
3. Link Smart Life acount in Home Control
   1. Click “Home Control” in the hamburger menu on the Google Home APP’s home page, then click “Home Control”.
      
   2. Then click “+”.
   3. Find “Smart Life” in the list.
      
   4. In the new window, select your Smart Life account’s region, input your Smart Life account and password, then click “Link Now” after you assign rooms for devices, your devices will be listed in the home control page.
      
4. Enjoy Google Home Control
   
   Now you can control your smart devices through Google Home. Take bedroom light as the example, the supported voice commands are as below:
   > OK Google, turn on/off bedroom light.
   > OK Google, set bedroom light 50 percent.
   > OK Google, brighten bedroom light
   > OK Google, dim bedroom light
   > OK Google, set bedroom light to red
