1. Tāuta Pūhiko

The EC90 flashlight comes with a battery pre-installed. Before first use, you must remove the insulating film from the battery. Unscrew the tail cap, remove the battery, peel off the protective film, and reinsert the battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

Te Hiko / Whakaweto

  • Whakakā: Kotahi te pehi i te pana taha.
  • Whakaweto: Single press the side switch when the light is on.

Tīpakonga Taumata Tirohanga

When the flashlight is on, press and hold the side switch to cycle through brightness levels: Ultra-Low → Low → Med1 → Med2 → High. Release the switch to select the desired level. The flashlight will memorize the last used brightness level (except Turbo and Strobe).

Aratau Motuhake

  • Ultra Low Mode: From OFF, press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds to activate Ultra Low mode (5 lumens).
  • Aratau Turbo: Double press the side switch from any state (ON or OFF) to activate Turbo mode (4300 lumens). Double press again to return to the previous mode.
  • Aratau Strobe: Triple press the side switch from any state (ON or OFF) to activate Strobe mode (4300 lumens). Single press to turn off.

Maukati/Wewete Mahi

  • Maukati: From OFF, press and hold the side switch for 3 seconds. The light will flash three times, indicating it is locked.
  • Wewete: When locked, press and hold the side switch for 3 seconds. The light will flash three times and enter Ultra Low mode, indicating it is unlocked.

The EC90 features a convenient USB-C charging port. Ensure the flashlight is turned off before charging.

The indicator light on the switch also displays the battery level when the flashlight is in use:
