The JETBeam RRT0 PRO is a compact and powerful flashlight designed for everyday carry and camping. It features a unique magnetic control ring for seamless mode switching and multiple lighting options.

4.1 Tāuta Pūhiko

  1. Unscrew the head of the flashlight counter-clockwise.
  2. Insert the included 16340 (RCR123) rechargeable battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
  3. Screw the head back on clockwise until secure.

4.2 Te Whakataki i te Pūhiko

The RRT0 PRO uses a rechargeable 16340 battery with a built-in USB-C charging port. The flashlight itself does not have an integrated charging port.

  1. Remove the battery from the flashlight as described in section 4.1.
  2. Kimihia te tauranga USB-C i te taha o te pākahiko.
  3. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the battery and a compatible USB power source.
  4. The battery's indicator light will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for full).

The RRT0 PRO features a magnetic control ring for easy and precise mode selection.

5.1 Turning On/Off and White Light Modes

  1. To turn the flashlight OFF, rotate the magnetic control ring all the way to the left (counter-clockwise).
  2. Rotate the control ring clockwise from the OFF position to cycle through the white light modes: Low → Medium → High.
  3. The flashlight has mode memory and will return to the last used white light mode when turned on again.

5.2 RGB and Special Modes

Continue rotating the control ring clockwise past the High white light mode to access the special lighting options:

  • Maama Whero: Ideal for astronomical observation or wildlife watching, preserving night vision.
  • Maama Kariki: Useful for map reading or night searches.
  • Marama kahurangi: Can be used for refrigerant leak detection or anti-counterfeiting marking.
  • Red & Blue Police Flash: For emergency signaling or attracting attention.

6.1 Tiakitanga Whanui

  • Keep the flashlight clean and dry. Wipe with a soft cloth as needed.
  • Avoid dropping the flashlight from excessive heights, though it is rated for 1.5-meter drop resistance.
  • Ensure the head is screwed on tightly to maintain its IPX-8 waterproof rating.

6.2 Tiaki Pūhiko

  • Charge the battery regularly to prolong its lifespan.

  • Avoid over-discharging or over-charging the battery. The included battery has built-in over-charge and over-discharge protection.

7. Te Raru

7.1 Flashlight Not Turning On or Flickering

  • Takina Pūhiko: Ensure the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) end towards the head.
  • Utu Pūhiko: The battery may be depleted. Remove and charge the battery using the provided USB-C cable.
  • Whakapiki Hononga: Ensure the flashlight head is screwed on tightly to establish proper electrical contact.

7.2 Parenga werawera

The RRT0 PRO features patented temperature control technology. If the flashlight becomes too hot during prolonged use on high modes, it will automatically reduce its output to prevent damage. This is normal operation. Allow the flashlight to cool down before resuming high-output use.
