Thank you for choosing PHILIPS 1.5V AA Lithium Rechargeable Batteries with Fast Charger. This product provides a reliable and long-lasting power solution for your electronic devices. These lithium-ion batteries offer a constant 1.5V output and high capacity, making them ideal for high-drain applications. The included charger doubles as a storage case, ensuring convenience and safety.

2. Hua Neke Atuview

The PHILIPS rechargeable battery system includes the following components:

  • 4 x PHILIPS 1.5V AA Lithium Rechargeable Batteries: High-capacity 3600mWh lithium-ion batteries.
  • 1 x PHILIPS Fast Charger & Storage Case: A compact unit designed to charge and store up to four AA batteries. Features a Type-C input port and LED indicators.

3. Tatūnga me te utu tuatahi

Before using your new PHILIPS rechargeable batteries, it is recommended to fully charge them.

  1. Wewete: Kia ata tangohia nga waahanga katoa mai i te kete.
  2. Kōkuhu Pūhiko: Open the charger case and insert the PHILIPS AA lithium batteries into the designated slots. Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the batteries align correctly with the markings inside the charger.
  3. Tūhono Pūhiko: Connect the Type-C charging cable (not included) to the charger's Type-C port. Plug the other end of the cable into a compatible 5V/3A power source, such as a PC, power bank, or car adapter.
  4. Aroturuki Whakatau: The LED indicators on the charger will flash green, indicating that the batteries are charging. Once fully charged, the LEDs will turn solid green.

4.1. Te Tikanga Whakatau

  • Puna Hiko: Use a 5V/3A power source for optimal charging speed. Lower amperage sources may result in slower charging.
  • Tohu LED:
    • Kakariki kanapa: Batteries are currently charging.

    • Whero: Indicates an abnormal condition such as overheating, voltage issues, or incompatible batteries. Remove batteries and check for issues.
  • Wā Whakataki: The charger is designed for quick charging, typically completing a full charge for 1-4 batteries in approximately 2 hours.

4.2. Battery Usage and Compatibility

These PHILIPS AA lithium rechargeable batteries are designed for high-drain devices requiring a constant 1.5V output.

  • Ngā Pūrere Hototahi: Ideal for Xbox controllers, PS5 controllers, digital cameras, solar lights, flashlights, voice recorders, RC cars, and other high-power consuming devices.
  • Ngā Pūrere Hotokore: Not suitable for devices with specific voltage requirements or those that draw very low current over extended periods, such as smoke alarms or doorbell cameras. Always check your device's manual for battery compatibility.
  • Mahinga: The lithium-ion technology ensures a steady 1.5V output throughout the battery's discharge cycle, preventing performance drops often seen with other battery types.

Adhere to the following safety guidelines to ensure safe operation and prolong the lifespan of your batteries and charger:

  • Hototahi Motuhake: The charger features a smart recognition chip designed for exclusive compatibility with PHILIPS rechargeable AA lithium batteries. Do not attempt to charge other battery types (e.g., Ni-MH, alkaline) in this charger, as it may pose safety risks.
  • Quad-Protection System: The charger is equipped with comprehensive safeguards against:
    • Te utu nui
    • Te tuku-nui
    • Porowhita-poto
    • Te werawera
  • Te Haumarutanga Whānui o te Pūhiko:
    • Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, or modify the batteries or charger.
    • Do not expose batteries to fire, high temperatures, or direct sunlight.
    • Keep batteries and charger away from water and moisture.
    • Whakaorangia ki te waahi makariri, maroke.

    • If a battery leaks, avoid contact with skin and eyes. Seek medical attention if contact occurs.

6. Tiaki

  • Whakahohe anō: These batteries are capable of reactivation even when fully discharged to 0V, ensuring a longer usable life.
  • Long-Term Benefits: With 1200 charge cycles and less than 3% monthly self-discharge, these batteries offer significant cost savings and reduce waste compared to disposable batteries. One set can replace up to 4,800 disposable AA batteries over its lifespan.

7. Te Raru

Charger LED shows red. Overheating, voltage issue, or incompatible battery inserted. Remove all batteries. Ensure only PHILIPS AA lithium batteries are used. Allow charger to cool if it feels warm. Reinsert batteries and try again. If the issue persists, contact support.
Batteries not charging (no flashing green LED). Incorrect battery insertion, faulty cable/power source, or dirty contacts. Check battery polarity. Ensure Type-C cable is securely connected to a 5V/3A power source. Try a different cable or power source. Clean battery and charger contacts with a dry cloth.
Device not powering on with charged batteries. Device incompatibility, incorrect battery insertion in device, or device malfunction. Verify device compatibility (refer to Section 4.2). Check battery polarity in the device. Test batteries in another compatible device. If the issue persists, the device itself may be faulty.
