4. Tatūnga

  1. Whakapiri Wiira: Turn the tank upside down. Insert the four wheels into the designated slots on the base of the tank until they click into place.
  2. Tāuta Tātari:
    • For dry vacuuming (including ash): Place the pre-filter (if provided) over the motor unit, then securely attach the HEPA filter. Ensure it is properly seated to prevent dust from entering the motor.
    • For wet vacuuming: Remove the HEPA filter. Only use the foam filter (if provided) for wet applications.
  3. Secure Motor Unit: Place the motor unit (lid) onto the tank. Fasten the metal clips on both sides of the tank to secure the lid firmly.
  4. Hononga ngongo: Insert one end of the flexible suction hose into the suction inlet on the front of the motor unit. Twist clockwise to lock it in place.
  5. Āpiti Apatoko: Connect the desired extension tubes and nozzle (floor nozzle, crevice tool) to the other end of the flexible hose.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

The LEHMANN Haddo vacuum cleaner offers multiple operating modes:

5.1. Maama maroke

  1. Ensure the HEPA filter is correctly installed.
  2. Connect the power cable to a suitable electrical outlet (230V).
  3. Press the ON/OFF switch located on the top of the motor unit to start the vacuum.
  4. Guide the nozzle over the dry debris or dust to be vacuumed.
  5. After use, switch off the vacuum and unplug it from the power supply.

5.2. Ash Vacuuming

Hiranga: Only vacuum COLD ASHES. Vacuuming hot ashes can cause severe damage to the appliance and pose a fire hazard.

  1. Ensure ashes are completely cold (wait at least 24 hours after a fire).
  2. Use the appropriate nozzle (e.g., crevice tool or aluminum nozzle) for ash collection.
  3. Proceed with vacuuming as described for dry vacuuming.
  4. Regularly check and empty the tank, as ash can quickly fill the capacity.

5.3. Wet Vacuuming

  1. Tangohia te tātari HEPA. Install the foam filter (if provided) for wet applications.
  2. Honoa te taura hiko.
  3. Whakakāhia te korehau.
  4. Vacuum liquids. The float mechanism inside the tank will automatically stop suction when the tank is full to prevent overflow.
  5. After the float stops suction, switch off the vacuum, unplug it, and empty the tank immediately.

5.4. Mahi Whakatangitangi

The vacuum cleaner can also be used as a blower for clearing leaves or inflating items.

  1. Disconnect the suction hose from the suction inlet.
  2. Connect the hose to the exhaust port located on the top of the motor unit.
  3. Connect the power cable and switch on the vacuum. Air will now be expelled through the hose.
  4. Direct the airflow as needed.

6. Tiaki

  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely (at least 24 hours) before re-installing it. Do not use the vacuum with a wet filter.
  5. If using a foam filter for wet vacuuming, rinse it with water and allow it to air dry.
