This document provides instructions for the Generic Foldable Waterproof Car Shelter Awning Replacement Canopy, designed to provide shelter for outdoor gatherings and protection from environmental elements. This product is a replacement fabric canopy and does not include the metal frame.
The canopy is constructed from durable 420D Oxford fabric, featuring a waterproof coating and UV protection to block up to 95% of harmful UV rays. It is suitable for various outdoor events and as a temporary car shelter.

- Ensure the canopy is securely attached to a stable frame to prevent collapse, especially in windy conditions.
- Do not use the canopy near open flames or heat sources.

Tuhipoka: The metal frame for the awning is not included with this replacement canopy fabric.
4. Tohutohu Tatūnga
Follow these steps to properly install the replacement canopy onto your existing frame:
- Whakapaia te Tāpare: Ensure your existing awning frame is clean, stable, and free from damage. If replacing an old canopy, remove it completely.
- Unfold the Canopy: Carefully unfold the new canopy fabric. Identify the top and bottom sides, and the corners.
- Position the Canopy: Drape the canopy over the top of the frame. Align the corners of the canopy with the corners of the frame.
- Attach Corners: Securely attach each corner of the canopy to the corresponding corner of the frame. The canopy features self-adhesive straps for easy attachment. Ensure these straps are firmly fastened.
- Tapa Haumaru: Work your way around the frame, securing all edges and additional attachment points of the canopy to the frame using any provided straps or fasteners. Ensure the canopy is taut to prevent water pooling.
- Taki Whakamutunga: Once installed, double-check all attachment points to ensure the canopy is securely fastened and evenly stretched across the frame.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
The canopy is designed for temporary outdoor use to provide shade and protection from light rain. Its UV protection helps shield against sun exposure.
- Parenga Ra: The canopy blocks up to 95% of harmful UV rays, making it suitable for sunny conditions.
- Parenga ua: The waterproof Oxford fabric provides protection against light to moderate rain. Ensure the canopy is taut to prevent water from pooling, which can cause damage or collapse.
- Tikanga Hau: While designed for outdoor use, avoid using the canopy in strong winds. High winds can damage the canopy and frame.

6. Tiaki
Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan of your canopy.
- Te horoi: Clean the canopy fabric with mild soap and water. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub any soiled areas. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow it to air dry completely before storage. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- whakamaroke: Always ensure the canopy is completely dry before folding and storing to prevent mildew and mold growth.
- Rokiroki: Store the canopy in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Tirotiro: Periodically check the double-line stitching and padded blocks (designed to prevent abrasion) for any signs of wear or damage. Address minor issues promptly to prevent further deterioration.
