- Wewete: Carefully remove the heat press and all accessories from the packaging.
- Turanga: Place the heat press on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for safe operation and heat dissipation.
- Tūhono Papa Mana: Connect the control pad cable to the designated port on the main unit.
- Hononga Hiko: Securely plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

6.1. Pre-Pressing
Before applying your design, it is crucial to pre-press your garment. Place the garment on the ironing board and press for 5-10 seconds. This step removes wrinkles and any moisture from the fabric, ensuring a smooth and durable transfer.
6.2. Te Whakatau i te Pawera me te Wa
- Whakahiko: Press the power button on the control pad to turn on the machine.
- Tautuhi i te Pamahana: Rotate the 'Temp' knob on the control pad to adjust the desired temperature (range: 104-410°F / 40-210°C). Press the 'Temp' button once to confirm the setting. The machine will begin to heat up.
- Tautuhi Wā: Rotate the 'Timer' knob to adjust the desired pressing time (range: 1-999 seconds).

6.3. Te Whakatikatika Pehenga
The heat press features an adjustable pressure knob located on the top bar. Turn the knob clockwise to increase pressure and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Adjust the pressure according to the thickness of your material and the requirements of your heat transfer vinyl or sublimation paper for optimal results.

6.4. Heat Transfer Process
- Whakaritea Rauemi: Place your pre-pressed garment or material on the ironing board.
- Hoahoa Tūranga: Carefully position your heat transfer design onto the material. Use heat-resistant tape to secure it if needed.
- Swing Heat Plate: Rotate the heat plate away from the ironing board using the handle to provide clear access.
- Perehi: Once the desired temperature is reached, swing the heat plate back over the material. Press the handle down firmly until it locks into place.
- Matawā Tīmata: Hold the 'Timer' button on the control pad for 2 seconds to start the countdown.
- Tuku: When the timer beeps, lift the handle and swing the heat plate away from the material.
- Tihore: Refer to your specific heat transfer material's instructions for whether to perform a hot peel (peel immediately while hot) or a cold peel (allow to cool before peeling).

- Tutakina-Aunoa: The machine automatically turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity as a safety feature. Simply power it back on to resume operation.
