3. Tohutohu Tatūnga
Turanga:
- Place the dehumidifier in an area where humidity control is needed, such as a basement, living room, garage, office, or cloakroom.
- Ensure at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around all sides of the unit for proper air circulation.
- The unit is equipped with 360° universal wheels and an integrated handle for easy movement.

Kōwhiringa Whakawai:
The dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:
- Whakahekea Gravity: Connect the 6.56 ft gravity drain hose to the drain port. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow water to drain continuously by gravity into a suitable receptacle or floor drain.
- Whakaheke Paa: For situations requiring water to be pumped upwards or over longer distances, connect the 19.67 ft pump drain hose. The built-in pump can lift water up to 19.6 feet vertically. This option allows for continuous drainage without manual emptying of a water tray.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Paewhiri Mana:
The intelligent control panel is located on the top of the unit. It features a digital display and various buttons for operation.

- Pihi Whakatika / Raro: Use to adjust the desired humidity level (25% RH - 80% RH) or set the timer.
- GPP Mode Button: Activates or deactivates GPP (Grains Per Pound) mode. This mode adjusts the set point based on absolute humidity for precise control and improved energy efficiency, especially at lower temperatures.
- Drain Button: Toggles the pump mode on or off for continuous drainage.
- Pātene Maukati: Activates or deactivates the control lock, preventing accidental changes to settings.
- Whakaaturanga Mamati: Shows the current humidity level and other operational information.
Whakahau Aunoa:
The unit features an automatic defrost system that prevents frost buildup on the coils, ensuring efficient operation even in cooler environments. The dehumidifier will temporarily stop dehumidifying and run the fan to melt any frost, then resume normal operation.
5. Tiaki
Tātari Tātari:
The dehumidifier is equipped with high-density MERV-1 filters. For optimal performance and air quality, clean the filter every three months.
- Whakawetohia ka wetewetehia te whakamahana.
- Open the lid covering the filter compartment.
- Carefully remove the MERV-1 filter.
- Horoia te tātari ki te wai mahana, hopipi. Horoia rawatia ka waiho kia maroke rawa te hau i mua i te whakauru ano.
- Reinsert the dry filter and close the lid.

6. Te Raru

- Dehumidifier is not collecting water: Verify that the desired humidity level is set lower than the current room humidity. Check if the filter is clean and not obstructed. Ensure air inlets and outlets are clear.
- Unit is making unusual noise: Check if the unit is on a level surface. Inspect for any loose parts or obstructions. If the noise persists, contact customer support.
- Te rerenga wai: Ensure drain hoses are properly connected and not kinked or blocked. If using gravity drainage, confirm the hose has a continuous downward slope.
