This system is designed to provide a controlled heating environment for reptiles, simulating natural day-night temperature cycles. It includes a ceramic heat emitter, a light fixture, and a dimming thermostat for precise temperature regulation.

  • Whakatupato Pamahana-Teitei: Te wera lamp surface can reach high temperatures during operation. A warning sticker on the lamp turns red at 113°F (45°C) to indicate this.
  • Turanga: Always keep a safe distance between the heat lamp and flammable materials, as well as your reptiles, to prevent burns or fire hazards.
  • Indoor Dry Use Only: This product is intended for indoor, dry environments. Do not expose to water or high humidity.
  • Hototahi Purama: This fixture is compatible with reptile heat bulbs and ceramic heat emitters up to 150W. It is kore hototahi with LED lights or sun lamps.
  • Haumaru Hiko: Me whakarite kia rite te tuku hiko ki te puo o te huatage requirements (100-120 Volts, 60 Hertz). Do not overload electrical outlets.

  1. Install the Ceramic Heat Emitter: Carefully screw the 150W ceramic heat emitter into the E26 socket of the 8.5-inch light fixture. Ensure it is securely tightened but do not overtighten.
  2. Position the Light Fixture: Place the light fixture securely above your reptile enclosure. Use the integrated hanging hook if suspending the lamp. Ensure adequate clearance from the enclosure walls and any inhabitants.
  3. Honoa te Thermostat: Plug the light fixture's power cord into the designated output on the REPTITRIP thermostat controller.
  4. Position the Temperature Probe: Carefully place the temperature probe inside the reptile enclosure. Position it in the area where you want to maintain a stable temperature, typically near the basking spot or a central location, ensuring it is not directly under the heat lamp or accessible to your pet.
  5. Whakahiko: Plug the thermostat's power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

The REPTITRIP thermostat allows for precise control over day and night temperatures, simulating natural circadian cycles. Refer to the LCD display and buttons for programming.

Mahi Taketake:

  1. Hiko Whakaka/Weto: Pehia roa te OK button to turn the thermostat on or off.
  2. Whakauruhia te Aratau Tautuhinga: Pehia roa te SET pātene ki te tomo i te aratau tautuhinga.
  3. Whakaritea Uara: Whakamahia te + a - nga paatene hei whakatika i nga uara.
  4. Confirm/Toggle: Pehia te OK button to confirm a setting or toggle between different parameters within the setting mode.
  5. Tiaki Tautuhinga: After adjusting a setting, long press the SET pātene ki te tiaki me te puta i te aratau tautuhinga.

Setting Day/Night Temperatures (Example)

Follow these steps to program your desired day and night temperatures and times. An example setting is provided for clarity.

  • Wā o nāianei: 10:00 AM
  • T1 (Day Start Time): 7:20 AM
  • SV (Daytime Target Temp): 100°F
  • T2 (Night Start Time): 6:30 PM
  • SV (Nighttime Target Temp): 80°F
  1. Tautuhi Wā Onāianei: Perehi roa SET to enter setup mode. Adjust the time using +/-. Perehi OK to move between hours and minutes. Long press SET again to save and proceed to T1 time setting.
  2. Set Day Start Time (T1): Adjust T1 to 7:20 AM using +/-. After T1 is set, press OK to toggle to the Daytime Target Temperature setting.
  3. Set Daytime Target Temperature: Adjust the daytime target temperature to 100°F using +/-. Perehi roa SET to save and proceed to T2 time setting.
  4. Set Night Start Time (T2): Adjust T2 to 6:30 PM using +/-. After T2 is set, press OK to toggle to the Nighttime Target Temperature setting.
  5. Set Nighttime Target Temperature: Adjust the nighttime target temperature to 80°F using +/-. Perehi roa SET to save all settings and exit.

6. Tiaki

  • Te horoi: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the exterior of the lamp fixture and thermostat with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse any part in water.
  • Whakakapi Purama: Me whakarite te lamp is unplugged and completely cool before attempting to replace the ceramic heat emitter. Handle the new bulb carefully and screw it in firmly.

    • Ensure the temperature probe is correctly positioned and not directly exposed to drafts or direct heat from the lamp.
    • Check for external factors affecting terrarium temperature, such as room temperature changes.
  • Papatono uaua:
    • Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section and the provided video for detailed steps.
    • Kia roa te pēhi i te SET button to enter and save settings, and short-pressing OK to toggle between parameters.
