6. Mahi

6.1 Te Whakatuwheratanga Tuatahi (Te Whakamahinga Tuatahi)

When you first receive the safe, it will be locked. Use the emergency key to open it:

Locate the badge or cover plate on the electronic keypad.
Remove the badge to expose the emergency keyhole.
Insert the emergency key into the keyhole and turn it clockwise.
While the key is turned, rotate the turning knob clockwise to open the safe door.
Once open, remove the emergency key and store it in a secure location outside the safe.

6.2 Setting Your Personal Combination

It is crucial to set your personal combination immediately after the first opening. Refer to the specific instructions provided with the safe for detailed steps on programming the electronic lock. Generally, the process involves pressing a reset button inside the safe, entering your desired code, and confirming it.

Important: Do not keep the emergency keys inside the safe after setting your combination.

6.3 Opening with Combination Lock

Enter your programmed personal combination on the keypad.
If the code is correct, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the lock will disengage.
Within a few seconds, rotate the turning knob clockwise to open the safe door.
