Tohutohu Tatūnga
1. Tohutohii Pakihi
Before first use, fully charge both 20V Lithium-Ion batteries using the provided charger. Insert the battery into the charger, ensuring proper alignment. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
2. Chain Installation (Mini Chainsaw)
- Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw unit.
- Loosen the chain cover knob and remove the chain cover.
- Place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the correct direction.
- Fit the chain and guide bar onto the chainsaw unit, aligning the chain with the sprocket.
- Replace the chain cover and tighten the knob. Adjust chain tension as needed; the chain should be snug but still able to be pulled freely by hand.

3. Filling the Auto Oiler System
The electric pole saw features an auto chain lubrication system. Fill the oil tank with general motor oil (not included) before each use to ensure smooth operation and reduce wear.
- Locate the oil tank cap on the chainsaw unit.
- Unscrew the cap and carefully pour appropriate chain oil into the tank.

- During operation, the system will automatically lubricate the chain.

To convert the mini chainsaw into a pole saw:
- Ensure the battery is removed from the mini chainsaw.
- Attach the mini chainsaw unit securely to the top of the extension pole. Follow the locking mechanism instructions provided with the tool.
- Extend the telescopic pole to the desired length (from 5ft up to 9ft). Secure the pole sections firmly.
- Insert a charged battery into the pole saw handle.

Using the Mini Chainsaw

- Position the saw head against the branch, allowing the chain to cut through the wood. Avoid cutting directly overhead.
- Use the adjustable head feature (135° rotation) to achieve optimal cutting angles for hard-to-reach branches.

Chain Sharpening and Replacement
A dull chain will reduce cutting efficiency and increase strain on the motor. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when necessary. Refer to the included tool kit for chain adjustment and replacement.

After each use, remove the battery and clean the tool. Use a brush to remove sawdust and debris from the chain, guide bar, and motor vents. Do not use water or solvents that could damage the tool.

Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not expose them to extreme temperatures. Fully charge batteries before long-term storage and recharge every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
