4.2. Nga Wae Matua
- Paper-Like Display: The 10-inch RLCD screen offers a unique viewing experience, designed for clarity in bright ambient light without a backlight, reducing eye strain.
- Kāmera Mua: Located at the top of the screen, used for video calls and basic photography.
- Pātene Hiko: Typically located on the side or top edge, used to power on/off the device or put it to sleep.
- Pātene Rōrahi: Whakaritea te taumata whakaputa ororongo.
- Tauranga Momo-C USB: Used for charging the device and connecting to a computer for data transfer.

5. Tatūnga

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your HannsNote 2 tablet. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the tablet's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not always included) or a computer's USB port.
- A charging indicator (usually an LED light or on-screen icon) will show the charging status.
- Allow several hours for a full charge.

6. Operating the HannsNote 2

6.3. Optimizing Display for Environment
The Paper-Like Display performs best in environments with sufficient ambient light. It does not have a backlight like traditional LCDs.
- Whakamahi o waho: The screen is highly visible in natural sunlight, making it ideal for outdoor reading and work.
- Whakamahi Roto: For indoor use, ensure adequate room lighting. Position the tablet to utilize ambient light effectively, such as near a window or under a well-lit area. Avoid using in dimly lit or dark rooms as the screen will appear very dark.
