1.2 Te Whakataki i te Kaikorero
Before first use, fully charge your Brane X speaker. Connect the provided power cable to the speaker's power input port and then to a standard electrical outlet. The charging indicator lights will provide status updates. A full charge provides approximately 12 hours of playback at moderate volume.

1.3 Hiko Tuatahi
Press and hold the power button located on the rear of the speaker until the indicator lights illuminate. The speaker will enter pairing mode or connect to the last known device.
1.4 Brane Mobile App Installation
For full functionality and advanced features, download the Brane mobile app from your device's app store. The app allows for customizable sound profiles, wireless grouping, and more.
1.5 Kōwhiringa Hononga
- Wi-Fi: For smart assistant integration and diverse streaming options, connect the speaker to your Wi-Fi network via the Brane mobile app.
- Nihokikorangi: Enable Bluetooth on your device and select 'Brane X' from the list of available devices to pair.
- 3.5mm AUX: Use a standard 3.5mm audio cable to connect external devices such as turntables or MP3 players to the AUX port on the rear of the speaker.

The Brane X supports various audio configurations:
- Aratau Hetoira: Connect two Brane X speakers via the Brane mobile app for a true stereo sound experience.
- Multi-room Party Mode: Group up to eight Brane speakers wirelessly using the Brane mobile app to play synchronized audio across multiple rooms.
- Soundbar Mode: Utilize the speaker as a soundbar for your television.
2.3 Sound Customization
Adjust the audio output to your preference:
- Whakaritenga Pango: Use the dedicated 'Bass' control on the top panel or the mobile app to fine-tune the deep, rich bass provided by the internal RAD subwoofer.
- Kairite (EQ): The Brane mobile app allows for detailed adjustment of bass, midrange, and treble settings for a personalized listening experience.

When connected to Wi-Fi, the Brane X works with Amazon Alexa for convenient hands-free control. Use voice commands to play music, check the weather, and more.
2.5 Diverse Streaming Options
Effortlessly stream audio from popular services including Spotify Connect, Apple Airplay, Pandora, Prime Music, iHeartRadio, Deezer, and TuneIn when connected to Wi-Fi.

To clean the Brane X speaker, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the speaker. For the mesh grille, a soft brush can be used to gently remove dust.
3.2 Āraiwai (Whakatauranga IP57)
The Brane X is IP57 rated, meaning it is fully waterproof and can be submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. While designed for outdoor use and splashes, avoid prolonged submersion. Ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
