The ATuMan TH3 Digital Rechargeable Hygrometer is an advanced indoor thermometer and humidity monitor designed to provide accurate environmental data. Featuring Wi-Fi connectivity for outdoor temperature and humidity monitoring without the need for a dedicated app, it also includes a clock and calendar display. This device is ideal for various indoor environments such as bedrooms, jars, guitar cases, and humidors, ensuring optimal conditions for health and preservation.

  • Pūhiko Rechargeable: Equipped with a Type-C rechargeable battery, offering approximately 4 months of usage on a full charge.

4. Aratohu Tatūnga

4.1 Whakataki Tuatahi

Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided Type-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the device's Type-C port and a standard USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator on the display will show charging status.

4.2 Kei te Hiko / Weto

The device typically powers on automatically when charged or connected to power. There is no explicit power button. To turn off, disconnect from power and allow the battery to drain, or if applicable, refer to the included instruction manual for specific power management features.

4.3 Wi-Fi Connection for Outdoor Data

To enable outdoor weather data display:

  1. Ensure your device is within range of your local Wi-Fi network.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts or refer to the detailed steps in the included instruction manual to connect the TH3 to your Wi-Fi network. This process typically involves selecting your network and entering the password directly on the device.
  3. Once connected, the device will automatically fetch and display local outdoor weather conditions, including temperature and humidity, along with relevant weather icons (sunny, rainy, etc.).

4.4 Whakanoho

The ATuMan TH3 offers flexible placement options:

  • Ripanga: Use the integrated stand to place the device on any flat surface such as a desk, shelf, or nightstand.
  • Maunga Maunga: Utilize the magnetic sheet (if provided) or a suitable mounting point on the back of the device to attach it to a wall or magnetic surface.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

5.1 Te Maramatanga ki te Whakaaturanga

The 4.3-inch large LCD screen provides a clear 180° viewing angle for easy monitoring. The display shows various pieces of information:

  • Date and Week: Located at the top left.
  • Wā: Prominently displayed in the center.
  • Weather Icons: Indicate current outdoor weather conditions (e.g., sun, clouds, rain).
  • Temperature Roto: Shown with a house icon, indicating the current indoor temperature.
  • Haumaru o Roto: Shown with a house icon, indicating the current indoor humidity percentage.
  • Min & Max Outdoor Temperature: Displays the minimum and maximum outdoor temperatures recorded.
  • Average Outdoor Humidity: Shows the average outdoor humidity percentage.

5.2 Ngā Wāhanga Pāmahana Whakawhiti (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), simply press the dedicated ℃/℉ switchable button located on the back of the device.

5.3 Interpreting Humidity Levels

The device helps you understand indoor humidity comfort levels:

  • maroke: Humidity less than 30%.
  • Whakamarie: Humidity between 30% and 60%, and temperature between 68°F and 78.8°F.
  • Mākū: Humidity greater than 60%.

5.4 Auto Time Synchronization

The device automatically synchronizes its time via Wi-Fi, ensuring accurate time display without manual adjustment.

6. Tiaki

6.1 Te horoi

To clean the device, gently wipe the display and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water.

6.2 Whakataunga Pūhiko

Recharge the device when the battery indicator shows low power. Use the provided Type-C cable. A full charge can last approximately 4 months.

6.3 Rokiroki

When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure it is fully charged before storing to prolong battery life.

7. Te Raru

  • Kore Whakaatu: Ensure the device is charged. Connect it to a power source using the Type-C cable.
  • Pānui hē: Ensure the device is placed in a stable environment, away from direct heat sources, vents, or extreme drafts. Allow a few minutes for readings to stabilize after placement or movement.
  • Nga Take Hononga Wi-Fi:
    • Check if your Wi-Fi network is active and within range.
    • Manatokohia he tika te kupuhipa Wi-Fi i whakauruhia.
    • Restart your Wi-Fi router and the TH3 device.
    • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as some devices may not support 5GHz networks.
  • Kāore i te mārama te whakaaturanga: The device features a 4.3" large LCD screen with a 180° viewing angle. Ensure there is no glare or obstruction.
