Tatūnga

Before first use, fully charge the internal 12000mAh lithium-polymer battery using the provided Type-C charging cable and AC adapter.

  1. Akona Tuatahi: Connect the Type-C charging cable to the radio's DC IN 5V port and the AC adapter to a power outlet. The charging indicator lights will illuminate.
  2. Tāutanga Pūhiko (Whiringa): For backup power, open the AAA battery compartment and insert 3 AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Toronga Antenna: Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal radio reception.

  • USB-C te utu: Use the provided Type-C cable and AC adapter for the fastest charging.
  • Paewhiri Solar: Place the radio in direct sunlight to charge the internal battery. This method is ideal for maintaining charge or slow charging in outdoor settings.
  • Tangata Ringa: Rotate the hand crank clockwise or counter-clockwise to generate power. One minute of cranking can provide approximately 10-15 minutes of radio use.
  • Pūhiko AAA: Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) as an alternative power source.
