3.1 Tāutanga Kāri SIM me te eSIM

Your Motorola Edge 40 5G supports Dual SIM functionality, allowing for one Nano-SIM card and one eSIM.

  1. Nano-SIM: Locate the SIM tray on the bottom edge of the device. Use the SIM ejector tool (if provided) to open the tray. Insert your Nano-SIM card into the designated slot with the gold contacts facing down. Ensure it is seated correctly before reinserting the tray.
  2. eSIM: To activate an eSIM, navigate to Ngā Tautuhinga > Whatunga me te Ipurangi > Ngā SIM and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new eSIM profile. This typically involves scanning a QR code provided by your carrier or entering activation details manually.

Tuhipoka: This device is unlocked for GSM carriers only. It does not support CDMA networks (e.g., Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular, xFINITY).

  • NFC: Use Near Field Communication for contactless payments and quick pairing with compatible accessories. Enable it in Ngā Tautuhinga > Ngā pūrere hono > Ngā manakohanga hononga > NFC.
  • Whatunga 5G: The device supports 5G connectivity on compatible networks. Ensure your SIM plan supports 5G for optimal speeds.

  • The 4400mAh battery provides up to 30 hours of usage.
