The Gloryang PD-A4 is an ultra-portable, inkless thermal printer designed for convenience and efficiency. Utilizing advanced thermal technology, it eliminates the need for ink, toner, or ribbons, offering a cost-effective and clean printing solution. Its compact and lightweight design makes it ideal for on-the-go printing, whether for travel, work, or academic purposes. With seamless Bluetooth connectivity for mobile devices and USB compatibility for laptops, you can print documents anytime, anywhere.

Your Gloryang PD-A4 Portable Printer package includes the following items:

  • 1x portable thermal printer
  • 1x portable carry case
  • 3x Rolls thermal paper (one pre-loaded, two extra)
  • 1x charger USB cable

3. Tatūnga

3.1 Te uta i te pepa wera

The Gloryang PD-A4 printer requires special thermal paper. It is not compatible with regular paper. Ensure you use 8.5 x 11 inch thermal paper for optimal performance. The printer supports paper widths ranging from 2 to 8.5 inches.

  1. Press the two gray switches on both sides at the bottom of the printer to open the top cover.
  2. Adjust the paper rack inside to match the width of your thermal paper.
  3. Load the thermal paper roll, ensuring the smooth, printable side is facing up and extends slightly out of the paper exit slot.
  4. Close the top cover securely until it clicks into place.

3.2 Te Whakakaha

To power on the printer, press and hold the power button (located on the top surface) for 2 seconds until the green light illuminates.

4.1 Hononga

The Gloryang PD-A4 printer offers versatile connectivity options:

  • Hononga Nihokikorangi: Effortlessly connect to iOS and Android smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth.
  • Hononga USB: Connect to laptops and computers using the provided USB cable.

4.2 App Download & Connection (for Mobile Devices)

For smartphone printing, download the 'PrintGo' app from your device's app store (available on iOS and Android).

  1. Download the 'PrintGo' APP.

  3. Open the 'PrintGo' app and connect to the PD-A4 printer from the device list.

4.3 Tukanga Ta

Once connected, you can select the file you wish to print (Word, Excel, PPT, PDF, TXT, images, web pages, etc.).

  • In the app, choose the paper type (Roll paper or Folded paper) and paper size (e.g., 8.5"x11" US Letter).
  • Adjust the print density (Light, Medium, Dark) as needed for clarity.
  • Initiate printing from the app. The printer will feed the paper and print your document.

4.4 Te Whakahaere Pepa

The Gloryang PD-A4 features a built-in paper bin to save space and prevent paper from wrinkling. After printing, simply tear off the document from the roll using the integrated cutter.

5. Tiaki

As an inkless thermal printer, the PD-A4 requires minimal maintenance. There are no ink cartridges to replace. Simply ensure you have a supply of compatible thermal paper.

To clean the exterior, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6. Te Raru

  • Printer Stops Printing: The printer may stop printing due to print head overheating caused by continuous printing. If this occurs, turn off the printer and let it cool down for 5-10 minutes before resuming use.
  • Nga take hono: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and the 'PrintGo' app is properly connected to the printer. For PC connections, verify the USB cable is securely plugged in and the correct drivers are installed.
  • He Rawe te Kounga Ta: Check the print density setting in the app (Light, Medium, Dark). Ensure you are using the correct type of thermal paper and that it is loaded with the smooth side facing up.
  • Pepa Jam: Ensure the paper is loaded correctly and not wrinkled. Open the cover, remove any jammed paper, and reload.
