Familiarize yourself with the main components of your training system:
3.1 Mana Mamao
- Whakaaturanga LCD: Shows battery level, training mode, intensity level, and dog selection.
- Intensity Adjustment Buttons (PUSH +/-): Used to increase or decrease stimulation levels.
- Patene Aratau: Cycles through training modes (Beep, Vibration, Static Stimulation).
- Patene Whakaoho: Activates the selected training mode.
- Patene hongere: Selects which receiver collar to control (if multiple collars are paired).

3.2 Receiver Collar

Before first use, fully charge both the remote control and the receiver collar. The devices come with built-in Lithium Ion batteries.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the charging ports on both the remote and the receiver.
- Plug the other end of the cable into a standard USB power adapter (not included).
- The indicator lights will show charging status (e.g., solid red while charging, green when full).
- Charging typically takes approximately 2 hours. The remote offers up to 10 days of standby time, and the collar up to 16 days of work time on a full charge.
4.2 Attaching Contact Points
Select the appropriate length of contact points (short or long) based on your dog's fur length. For dogs with thick fur, use longer contact points to ensure proper skin contact. Screw the chosen contact points firmly onto the receiver collar.

5.1 Hiko / Whakaweto
- Hei Whakakā: Press and hold the power button on both the remote and the receiver until the indicator lights illuminate.
- Hei Whakakore: Press and hold the power button on both devices until the indicator lights turn off.
5.2 Selecting Training Modes
Press the 'Mode' button on the remote control to cycle through the available training modes:
- Aratau Maama: Activates a light on the receiver collar. Useful for locating your dog in low light conditions.
- Tone (Beep) Mode: Emits an audible beep from the receiver. This mode has a fixed intensity level.
- Aratau Wiri: Delivers a non-harmful vibration to the receiver. This mode has a fixed intensity level.
- General Stimulation Mode: Delivers static stimulation with adjustable levels from 1 to 16.
- Boosted Stimulation Mode: Delivers static stimulation with adjustable levels from 17 to 99. This mode provides higher intensity for more stubborn dogs or specific training situations.
The remote offers a total of 151 levels of static stimulation, combining the general and boosted ranges, allowing for precise adjustment to your dog's temperament and training needs.
