This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Sharp SPC5026AMZ Digital Alarm Clock. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper function and longevity.

3. Tatūnga
3.1 Tāuta Pūhiko

- Remove the cover by sliding it downwards or lifting it.
- Insert three (3) new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.

The clock will power on automatically after battery installation.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Refer to Figure 2 for button locations on the back of the clock.
4.1 Tautuhi Wā me te Rā
- Kiriata te ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH ki te WĀ tūnga.
- Pehia te HOUR / MONTH SELECTION BUTTON ki te whakatika i te haora.
- Pehia te MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON ki te whakatika i te meneti.
- Pehia te 12/24 HR TIME YEAR SELECTION BUTTON to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour format.
- Kiriata te ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH ki te RA tūnga.
- Pehia te HOUR / MONTH SELECTION BUTTON ki te whakatika i te marama.
- Pehia te MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON to adjust the date.
- Pehia te 12/24 HR TIME YEAR SELECTION BUTTON ki te whakatikatika i te tau.
- Once time and date are set, slide the ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH hoki ki te RERE tūnga.
4.2 Te Whakatakoto i te Whakaoho
- Kiriata te ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH ki te ohooho tūnga.
- Pehia te HOUR / MONTH SELECTION BUTTON hei whakarite i te hāora whakaoho.
- Pehia te MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON hei whakarite i te meneti whakaoho.
- Kiriata te WHAKAMAHI KAUPAPA/WATA ki ON to activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
- Hei whakakore i te whakaoho, nekehia te WHAKAMAHI KAUPAPA/WATA ki WATE. The alarm icon will disappear.
- Once the alarm is set, slide the ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH hoki ki te RERE tūnga.
4.3 Mahi Koura
Ka tangi te whakaoho, pehia te rahi PUKA / Rama button on the top of the clock. The alarm will pause for approximately 9 minutes before sounding again.
4.4 Nightlight and Backlight
The clock features two illumination options:
- Built-in Display Nightlight: Kiriata te LOW LIGHT NIGHTTIME VIEWING BACKLIGHT ON/OFF SWITCH on the back of the clock to ON for a continuous, low-level illumination of the display. Slide to WATE ki te whakakore.
- On-Demand White Backlight: Patohia te nui PUKA / Rama button on the top of the clock for 5 seconds of bright white backlight. This is useful for quick viewi roto i nga ahuatanga pouri.

4.5 Whakaaturanga Pawera
The clock displays the indoor temperature in either Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). To switch between units, press the MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON ko te ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH kei roto i te RERE tūnga.

6. Tiaki
6.1 Te horoi

Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically. Always replace all three batteries simultaneously with new AAA batteries. Remove batteries if the clock will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
