5.2 Ducted vs. Ductless Setup
This range hood supports both ducted (external venting) and ductless (recirculation) configurations. For ducted installation, connect the exhaust duct to an external vent. For ductless operation, charcoal filters must be installed to purify the air before recirculating it back into the kitchen. Do not install charcoal filters if using ducted mode, as this will impede airflow and increase noise.

The range hood features a touch control switch panel and gesture sensing for convenient operation. A remote control is also included.

6.2 Gesture Sensing Operation
To activate or adjust the fan speed using gesture control, wave your hand across the designated sensing points on the control panel. A single wave can turn the fan on/off or cycle through speeds. Ensure both sensing points are crossed for the gesture to register.

6.3 Touch Control Operation
The touch control panel allows for precise control over all functions:
- Pātene Hiko: Ka whakakā, whakaweto rānei i te kōwae.
- Tere Kiri: Cycle through 4 fan speeds (F1-F4) by repeatedly pressing the fan speed button or using gesture control.
- Pātene Māmā: Turns the LED lights on/off and adjusts brightness.
- Matawā: Sets a delay shut-off timer (1-15 minutes).
6.4 Mahi Mana Mamao
The included remote control duplicates the functions of the touch panel, offering convenience from a distance. Ensure the remote has a working CR2032 battery.

7. Tiaki

- To remove: Locate the small latch on each filter, push it in, and pull the filter downwards.

- To reinstall: Align the filter with the slots and push it upwards until the latch clicks into place.
