3. Huihuinga me te Tatūnga
3.1 Te Hurihanga i te Teretere
- Place the folded stroller on a flat surface with the wheels facing down.
- Release the folding latch, usually located on the side of the frame.
- Lift the handlebar upwards firmly until the frame locks into place. You should hear an audible 'click'.
- Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged before placing your child in the stroller.
3.2 Te Whakatikatika i te Paearu
The telescopic handlebar can be adjusted to multiple positions to suit your height for comfortable pushing.
- Locate the handlebar adjustment buttons on either side of the handlebar.
- Press and hold these buttons simultaneously.
- Extend or retract the handlebar to your desired height.
- Release the buttons to lock the handlebar in position. Ensure it is securely locked before use.

4.1 Folding the Stroller (One-Hand Fold)
The Explorer stroller features a convenient one-hand folding system.
- Ensure the backrest is in an upright position and the canopy is retracted.
- Locate the one-hand fold mechanism, typically on the handlebar or frame.
- Activate the mechanism (e.g., slide a button and press a lever) while simultaneously pushing the handlebar forward and down.
- Continue to push until the stroller is fully folded and the automatic lock engages.
- The folded dimensions are approximately 27 x 44 x 60 cm.

4.2 Te Whakatikatika i te Whakataunga
The backrest can be adjusted to multiple positions for your child's comfort, from upright to a reclined position for naps.
- To recline: Locate the adjustment lever or strap mechanism behind the backrest. Gently squeeze the lever or pull the strap to release the lock and lower the backrest to the desired angle.
- To raise: Push the backrest upwards until it locks into the desired position. Ensure it is securely locked before use.
4.3 Adjusting the Calf Rest
The calf rest provides additional support for your child's legs.
- Locate the buttons or levers on either side of the calf rest.
- Press these buttons/levers and adjust the calf rest to the desired angle.
- Release the buttons/levers to lock it in place.
4.4 Securing the Child with the 5-Point Harness

The stroller is equipped with a foot-operated brake system.
- To engage the brake: Press down firmly on the brake pedal, usually located near the rear wheels, until it locks.
- To release the brake: Lift the brake pedal upwards.
- Always engage the brake when the stroller is stationary, especially when placing or removing your child.

The adjustable canopy provides shade and protection for your child.
- To extend the canopy: Pull the front edge of the canopy forward.
- To retract the canopy: Push the front edge of the canopy backward.
