6. Aratau Mahi

The VONETS VBG1200 supports three primary operating modes:

6.1. WiFi Bridge Mode

In Bridge mode, the device converts a WiFi signal into a wired Ethernet connection. This is ideal for connecting wired-only devices (e.g., network printers, DVRs, IP cameras, smart TVs, gaming consoles like PS3) to a wireless network without running long Ethernet cables.

Whirihoranga: Connect the VBG1200 to your wired device via Ethernet. Access the configuration page, select Bridge mode, and connect to your existing WiFi network by entering its SSID and password.

6.2. WiFi Repeater Mode

Repeater mode extends the range of an existing WiFi network. The VBG1200 receives the wireless signal from your main router and re-broadcasts it, effectively expanding coverage to areas with weak or no signal.
