The WISE TIGER EP-AC2939 is a 1200Mbps AC Dual Band WiFi Extender designed to expand your existing Wi-Fi coverage. It functions as a wireless repeater and access point, boosting internet Wi-Fi for up to 32 devices and covering areas up to 1500 sq. ft. This device is compatible with any AC router, gateway, or access point, supporting both 2.4GHz (up to 300Mbps) and 5GHz (up to 867Mbps) bands.

Equipped with dual external 6 dBi antennas, it extends Wi-Fi coverage 360 degrees, ensuring reliable data transmission throughout your home or office. The integrated 100Mbps Ethernet port allows it to function as a wireless adapter for wired devices. A smart signal indicator assists in finding the optimal placement for maximum Wi-Fi coverage.

There are two primary methods to set up your WISE TIGER EP-AC2939 WiFi Extender: using the WPS button or through a web pūtirotiro.

4.1. Tikanga WPS (Tatūnga Tiaki Wi-Fi)

In Access Point Mode, the extender connects to your router via an Ethernet cable and transforms your wired network connection into a wireless access point. This is useful for adding Wi-Fi capability to a wired-only network or creating a new Wi-Fi network in a specific area.

6. Optimal Placement and Signal Indicator

The smart signal indicator lights on the extender help you find the best location for optimal Wi-Fi coverage. After initial setup, you can relocate the extender to a suitable spot. Observe the indicator lights to ensure a strong connection:

• Maama Kariki: Indicates a good connection to the main router.
• Maama karaka: Indicates the extender is too far from the main router, suggesting relocation closer to the router.

Place the extender roughly halfway between your router and the Wi-Fi dead zone. Avoid placing it near large metal objects, concrete walls, or other devices that may cause interference.
