5. Tāutanga

This section outlines the steps for installing your HOROW HT100S toilet. It is recommended to have two people for lifting and positioning the toilet due to its one-piece design.

5.1 Prepare the Floor Flange

Ensure your floor flange is properly installed and ready for the toilet. The HT100S is designed for a 10-inch rough-in.

5.2 Install Floor Bolts and Wax Ring

  1. Insert the two floor bolts into the floor flange.
  2. Install the wax ring onto the toilet's outlet hole.

5.3 Position the Toilet

Carefully lower the toilet onto the floor flange, aligning the outlet hole with the wax ring and the bolt holes with the floor bolts. The toilet features two large opening holes on the side for easier fixation.

5.4 Secure the Toilet

  1. Fasten the screws onto the floor bolts from the side access holes.
  2. Place the side covers over the access holes.

5.5 Tūhono Waiwai

Connect the water supply hose to the toilet inlet valve. The toilet works with a U.S. standard 7/8'' waterline. An adapter for a 1/2'' waterline is pre-installed and can be removed if your hose is 7/8''.

5.6 Install Quick Release Seat Cover

The soft-closing toilet seat is designed for easy installation and removal for cleaning.
