Your Freestyle Shark Clip watch features several buttons for operation:

  • Pātene MODE: Cycles through different modes (Time, Chronograph, Alarm, Timer, World Time).
  • PATU Rama. Activates the Night Vision backlight.
  • SET/ADJ Button: Used for entering and confirming settings adjustments.
  • Pātene Tīmata/Kati: Used to start/stop functions like the chronograph or adjust values.

4. Tatūnga

4.1. Wā Tuatahi me te Tautuhinga Rā

  1. Pehia te MODE button repeatedly until you reach the Time Setting mode (usually indicated by flashing digits).

The Shark Clip features a unique seatbelt-style strap for secure fastening.

  1. To wear, simply slide the strap through the buckle until it is snug on your wrist.
  2. Engage the clip mechanism to secure the strap.
  3. To adjust the length, open the buckle and slide the strap to the desired length, then re-secure. Ensure the watch is comfortable but not too tight to allow for proper circulation.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

5.1. Time Display & Backlight

  • In normal time mode, the display shows the current time, day, and date.
  • Pehia te KAMARAMA button to activate the Night Vision backlight for a few seconds.

5.2. Chronograph (Stopwatch)

  1. Pehia te MODE button until 'CHRONO' or 'STW' appears on the display.
  2. Pehia te TITIAKI/TATA pātene hei tīmata i te wā.
  3. Perehi TITIAKI/TATA kia whakamutua anō te wā.
  4. Perehi TITIAKI/TATA once more to resume.
  5. To reset the chronograph, ensure it is paused, then press the SET/ADJ pātene.

5.3. Whakaoho

Your watch has two independent alarms.

  1. Pehia te MODE button until 'ALARM 1' or 'ALARM 2' is displayed.

5.4. Heat Timer

The heat timer is a countdown timer function.

  1. Pehia te MODE button until 'TIMER' or 'HT' is displayed.
  2. Pehia te SET/ADJ pātene ki te tomo aratau tautuhinga matawā.
  3. Adjust the desired countdown time using the TITIAKI/TATA button and navigating with SET/ADJ.
  4. Perehi SET/ADJ ki te whakau.
  5. Perehi TITIAKI/TATA ki te tiimata i te tatauranga tatau.
  6. The watch will emit a sound when the timer reaches zero.

5.5. Mahi Wā o te Ao

Your Freestyle Shark Clip watch is water resistant up to 100 meters (330 feet). This means it is suitable for:

  • Splashes and rain.

6.1. Te horoi

To keep your watch clean, wipe it regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For the strap, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water and air drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained.
